My name is Romeo, and as you'd expect from my name, I am quite the charmer. I'm a 6 year old boy, house trained and neutered. I've also been through basic obedience training, and passed with flying colors. I've grown up around kids, and my hobbies include going for rides, long walks, playing basketball and cuddling. If I'm so great, why am I looking for a family right now? Well, I asked myself the
same question. My family moved to a big new house with a 3 acre yard - sounds great, right? Well unfortunately, I'm allergic to something in the yard, and as a result I've developed some skin problems. All this itching has stressed me out and made me very uncomfortable, and it made my people very unhappy. I had a hard time getting acclimated to the new place, and as everyone knows, a move can be stressful for everyone. My family gave up on me. Even though I had been a part of my family since i was a pup, they were not willing to help me or find a solution to the problem. They said it was just too expensive, and they decided to have me 'euthanized'. I didn't know what that meant, but it can't be good, because my trainer Darah got really upset, and said she'd try to help me find a new home. I really AM a good boy, my skin is getting better, and I feel much better. Darah took me to a very nice veterinarian and she gave me medicine and said my skin will be all healed up. Darah said she would be happy to tell you more about me, and to help me adjust to a new family. I don't really like cats - they're too much fun to chase - and while I've been around other dogs, it would be best for me to be the only dog in a home right now, just because I don't need more stress. Please give me a chance to settle into a new family. I just want to feel better, and have a happy life again with a person or family who loves me. love, Romeo
