NWS has upgraded most of the DC area (the area in purple) from a Heat Advisory to an Excessive Heat Warning for Wednesday, due to slightly higher heat indexes expected in that region. Although we pretty much expect the heat index to reach 105-110 area-wide.

You never want to tell your clients negative things however, my clients know that the good bad and ugly will be conveyed when needed. They also know that I would only let them know negative information, because I absolutely love their animals and there is a reason for that information.
Sometimes I have to tell a client it might be time for a bath, today was time to tell a client that their leashes needed a bath. Desperately.
Moral of the story don’t forget to wash your leases/harnesses once in a while. They need love too.

Happy to give this update: Blaze is back home! After an ICU visit and surgery he was ready to be picked up this morning. EVERY single one of or JWalkers dogs becomes our family. I will ALWAYS treat them like they are my own. No matter what. This boy is a freaking ROCKSTAR and we were both so happy to see each other and get lots of kisses. 😘

You never want the animals in your care to get sick or injured. Just know if they do we will take good care of them. This sweetie has been on a hunger strike since his parents left on Sat morning, that is very unlike him so off to the vet we go. I love this boy.💕

There are a few overnights happening tonight. I may have been confined to my house for the last (almost) 3 weeks but today I got dropped off at a clients to hang out at their house w their sweet pup. Luckily I have help with the actual dog walking part, the snuggling, pets, feeding and letting them out back I can do. Bea is also on an overnight and all our sweet little pups are tucked in for the night and ready for bed. 💕 😴

Jacki is an excellent dog trainer.

She is patient, understanding, kind with both the pet and the owner(s) and
has a wealth of knowledge to share with her clients. We were recommended to
Jacki by a neighbor of ours to work with our 12 week old Corgi. It was the
best training we could have possibly asked for. Jacki took her time with
our JuneyB (and us). With perseverance and training tools Jacki provided us
with, we have made some great headway.

We highly recommend Jacki to anyone who needs any kind of dog training,
from puppies to older dogs. You will find Jacki to be extremely
knowledgeable and caring.
