Many of us were saddened to learn of the passing Calvin. His rescue and subsequent adoption was one of those stories that purrrfectly matched the spirit of TinyKitten’s mission.

Last month we lost a tiny family member, just a few days before Snoopy left for his forever home. Watson was the light of our lives, and his passing hit us all excruciatingly hard 💔

We’re so sorry it affected Snoopy’s tiny suitcase & made for a quiet transition to his new Mom but we are so grateful he is happy & healthy & thriving in his new home! We love you so much Snoop & are so incredibly happy for you 🖤

It’s Snoopy’s 3 week Fostiversary 🥳

Since we’ve had a few people asking what we’ve been doing for Snoopy knowing he had past litter box issues, we thought we’d share our set up for this superstar!

Our sweet furry kiddos cannot verbally tell us how they’re feeling so they show us 🥹 it’s up to us to listen ❤️

1. We set Snoopy up in his very own safe room aka Chloe’s room 🌈 and made sure things were clean, without too much clutter, but lots of kitty toys of course 🧶

2. We set up 3 different litter boxes w/ 3 different litters to give him options. One is a regular sized open box with world’s best litter. One is an extra large open box with Okocat litter (fine wood shavings). One is a covered box with clay litter. [he definitely prefers the extra large box with Okocat but this of course could vary from cat to cat] 🪵

3. Plugged in numerous Feliway diffusers, in his room and around the house ✨

4. He gets gabapentin daily to reduce any anxiety/stress, especially with so much change ❤️‍🩹

5. We’ve been taking things at his pace as he settles into his foster home. The first week he was quite shy and nervous so I just spent time in his room and let him get used to me. Now you can see how confident and loving he is becoming 🥰

All these things seem to be working for Snoopy and he’s been a litter box superstar since getting here 🏠

Do you have any tips that has worked for you and your kitties? 😽

*Note: his past home had already ruled out health issues or that wouldn’t have been the place to start. There are also always more things to try! For example, Snoopy came with Fluoxetine as well but we wanted to start with just Gaba and he’s been doing great with just that! If needed we would also try the med combo.

SO HANDSOME 🖤

I fully admit this boy has stolen my heart 🥹 he is gentle, sweet and funny and he has taken all the change he’s had to go through sooooo well! I’m so proud of him 🥰

Whoever gets the honour of adopting this amazing boy will have a bff for life, and I’m a little jealous of his future forever family 🙃

Until then I will soak up all the Snoopy I can get and love him like my own ❤️

*PSA - Snoopy will not be a foster fail. As much as I love him I am at my max for permanent furry residents , but still love to help by fostering whenever I can and Snoopy is safe & welcome here for as long as it takes to find his forever family 🖤

A couple of weeks ago, Tinykittens reached out to the Jedi fam to see if we could foster a super special vip foster kitty

Of course, we immediately said YES! And now we have a Snoopy 🥹🖤

Snoopy is from the Peanuts Colony and was adopted as a kitten in 2019. After 5 years of being home, his family made the tough decision that their home was not the best for him as he struggled with peeing outside the litterbox 🥺

We got him all set up in Chloe’s Room 🌈 with 3 litterboxes and multiple litters for him to try and safe to say this boy is an ANGEL and has been a litterbox SUPERSTAR! 🤩

He’s been understandably anxious & shy after so much change, but it has been an honour to watch him settle in and become more confident, snuggly & playful! 🥰
