Why Dog SITTING?

I FINALLY figured out what I needed to do for a little home-based business--Dog Sitting! WHY? Simply because I LOVE DOGS! I have always had dogs in my life, started training at 14 with my German Shepherd pup, Major. I couldn’t imagine life without a lovable pooch at my side.

I started caring for dogs from people at my church who were going out of town. One lady asked me if I knew anyone to watch her 2 dogs while she went to visit her sister for a few days? I responded, “I’ll do it!” She said great! And so it began...she told someone else and quickly word stated getting out! A friend was telling me how she was going to Ireland to visit her family. She was going for almost a month & she just hated to leave her dog in a kennel while she was gone. I told her “I’ll watch her!” Another pet-sitting job for me!

Being a Sitter is just perfect for me!! I really wish I would have started this years ago.!! I could be one of those crazy dog ladies, but my husband keeps the dog population at our house under control! hehe... He likes the dog sitting business because the dogs come, I have the best time with them, and then they go home! It’s just perfect I say!
