These 2 need our help

These two need our help for Christmas. I don’t have any information on these babies other than they are a bonded pair and the one on the left will be having emergency eye surgery tomorrow with Dr. Molly if we can help.
They will be dropped off to our vet and I will go up later to meet them and get more information about their medical situation.

Herschel Walker is still waiting to be adopted

He’s almost 2 years old, 8 lbs, neutered male and microchipped. Our little Hershey Kiss is the sweetest chocolate shih. He’s completely house, crate, leash and potty trained. He’s just a lover and loves cuddles. He does awesome with kids, other dogs and the cats at the rescue. He loves going on walks and riding in the car.

We do adopt out of state and offer transportation options.

You may remember Missy’s first post. She came back to rescue after her elderly adopter had to move and couldn’t take her with her. Well we found a family to adopt her and they completed the process and received the call of congratulations only to tell our team that they just decided it wasn’t time to bring in a new baby🤦‍♀️. Sometimes people don’t understand that rescue volunteers don’t get paid to work bc they volunteer their time. The time they spend between caring for their families and careers but somehow stillmake time to get these people adopted.

The time spent on this family makes it more difficult to find Missy a home for Christmas😭which was our original post. This really pi**ed me off and hurt my heart at the same time bc people just don’t care about the effects of doing this. If you haven’t discussed adoption with your spouse or others that live in your home, please don’t apply to adopt one of our babies and waste the time of the volunteers who commit their time to vet adopters. Serious adopters apply ONLY. If you don’t know for sure then please wait until you KNOW you are ready. It’s only fair to the rescue, volunteers, that baby and ME.

So here we are with another adoption post for 4 year old Missy to find her forever home for Christmas. This precious baby is an angel. She don’t bark much, she is house, crate, leash and potty trained. She’s up to date on all vaccines and microchip. Her titer test showed her vaccines are still at normal numbers. She has her dental cleaning in Tuesday and is ready for her forever home.
