Lots of house visits and holiday bookings on top of my regulars ☀️🐾🐈🐴

I absolutely love my job and I’m truly so grateful to you all for trusting me with your beloved pets 🥰 and thank you all for returning to me year after year for your holiday bookings! ❤️

And I know I always say that I’m going to get better at updating my page but it never seems to happen 🤣 so here’s a few highlights of the last few weeks!

Remember, if it’s too hot for your hands or your bare feet, then it’s too hot for their paw pads! ⚠️

If you’re unsure whether it’s okay to let your pet go for a walk on pavements, a simple way to test the temperature is by holding your bare skin on the tarmac for five seconds ⏱️

If you find it painful, then your pet will find it painful to walk on!

To protect your pet, it’s best to avoid walks during the hottest part of the day, which is usually between 8am and 6pm. If you can't safely exercise your dog, missing a day won't hurt.

Due to the high temperatures forecast again this week, my hot weather measures are once again in place! ☀️🥵

Times of walks may be brought forward to earlier in the day where possible to avoid the hottest times of the day. Walks will be kept to shaded areas, away from pavements/tarmac to avoid burnt paws, and plenty of water will be provided throughout.

Walks may be shortened, or if it’s too hot, I will switch to house visits to ensure that your dogs are still able to go out to the toilet, have fresh water and a fuss indoors where it is cooler and safer for them

I’ll be speaking to each client individually to discuss the most suitable and safest plan for your doggos in this heat.

This poor little guy fell into a horses water bucket this afternoon! Luckily I heard the splash and scooped him straight out and then he clung to me for a while until he dried out in the sun 🥺

I’ve had the most amazing week on holiday with my best girl, Mol 🥰🐎⛰️

I’m fully booked for tomorrow and then we’re having some family time this weekend, but I’ll be back to work as normal again from Monday so please book in asap as I won’t be on my phone much this weekend!
