💔A Heartbreaking Plea for Levi

Over five years ago, Levi was one of the first dogs our rescue saved. He came to us from a euthanasia list and found a loving home—a fresh start he so deserved. Sadly, Levi’s world was turned upside down on Christmas morning when his beloved owner passed away.

Levi ended up at the Humane Society of St. Lucie County, where their operations manager, Jen, immediately recognized him and contacted us. Jen and Cass were volunteers with our rescue when Levi first came in, and it was great to see them again, still working hard to help animals in our community. Thanks to them, Levi made it safely back to us.

This sweet boy is around eight years old, good with other dogs with proper introductions, and still has plenty of energy. He can play a little rough, so he’d do best with a dog that matches his enthusiasm.

Today, we had the pleasure of spending time with Lucky Luke, a handsome boy who was pulled from Okeechobee Animal Control. He’s been in the care of Paws Fur Recovery Dog Rescue who has been fostering him at their facility until he transitions to our amazing foster/trainer in January. When rescues work together we can accomplish so much more.

A huge thank you to Jon from Fala Woods K9 for working with Luke and helping him make incredible progress so far! We are so excited to see how far this sweet boy will go. Stay tuned for updates on his journey!
