After an amazing six year relationship Bobbie has decided to close this chapter of Vintique Alley until it can be reimagined in a new location. I am grateful for the experience of meeting so many creative vendors and for the support of customers who enjoy the uniqueness of goods small businesses have to offer. Thank-you!

As a certified farmer I've found no growing year is without challenges. This year's farmstand season will be impacted by the Oriental Fruit Fly Quarantine. Thankfully as a preserver and baker there are options. I have planted tomatoes like, Pomodoro Red Pear, San Marzano and Roma. All traditional sauce tomatoes. So where the quarantine prevents me from selling whole tomatoes, a variety of tomato sauces and fresh Pico de Gallo will be available as soon as tomatoes are ripe. The crop is excellent and unbothered by the recent heat spike. 🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅

As you may be aware Redlands is under Oriental Fruit Fly Quarantine. This will significantly affect the products available at the SunnysideLOCAL Summer Farmstand. According to most expert sources the quarantine is unlikely to be lifted until October 2024. What this means...
*No fresh tomatoes at the farmstand, but there will be sauce.
*No citrus, but there will be marmalade and marinade
* Lots of Baked goods using SunnysideLOCAL fruit
* We will offer some berries and greens not on the host list.
*Lots of jams from summer fruit.

The cycle begins again at SunnysideLOCAL Farm. Pruning and fertilizing ahead of last rainfall. Blueberry bushes, raspberry canes cut back, strawberry plants renovated and fertilized. Also spent considerable time on gopher control.😠😵💫😫Keeping weeds under control is hard, especially with lots of rain. But gophers flock to vegetation!!

This morning I walked with my son and stopped at one of our favorite turn around spots, @oliveavemarket . It was a busy day, but as I watched and waited for my coffee to come up the baristas took it all in stride and delivered each order with focus and courtesy. My son had a beautiful breakfast provided by pop up business @happymediumsdeli and on the way home we were surprised by a freshly made sidewalk mandala. It felt like an early Christmas gift🌟🕊️🌟
