Proceeds from the sale of StarCATS Cat Toys go towards paying off vet bills. StarCATS was created in 2013 and named in honour of Casteylan, our beautiful huge orange fluffball monster who died after many many vet visits. The CATS part was coined to mean "Casteylan Across Time and Space" and Star is from our surname, Starfire. We already had quite a balance from the deaths of Seelie and Emdee earli
er that year, and we maxed out CareCredit trying to save Cas. (and thanks to the sale of toys, we had it paid down enough to cover our sweet Jack in 2015, thank you all!)
Our surviving clowder are the surviving kittens of Emdee (and quite possibly Jack), who are littermates of Cas: Binx (black polydactyl rumpy boy), Minerva (grey stubby tabby), Isis (black floofy girl), Samhain (torbie floofy girl), as well as Dragon, a wee grey and white feral tabby we're taming, and Mr Bernstein, a huge brown tabby who'd been previously TNRed and appeared last year, and who is very shy and scared, but sweet. The "kittens" turn 12 on 12 Aug 2016; Dragon and Mr. Bernstein's ages are unknown but they seem to be much younger. We (Chris and Paul) are both severely disabled by chronic illness, and CareCredit is what we depend on for vet care.
