Huge congratulations to Anastasia and Platform Chinooks for Lewis's (GCH CH Platform's Dumbledore's Army CGC TKN) win as Best of Breed at the 2025 AKC Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show!!!!!! 🎉🥇🏆

Lewis is from Platform's first Chinook litter (which is always special to win with a dog from your first litter) and his sire is our very own Desert Sol Pancho, who was raised in our home back in 2016.

Returning 2024 BOB champ is Coulee, to be handled by Ashlee, and first timer Lewis (his sire is our Desert Sol Pancho) to be handled by Anastasia.

A huge thank you to Ashlee for showing Coulee, getting his Grand Champion and going to back to back Westminster shows and to Platform Chinooks for showing the pups from her Order of the Phoenix litter and carrying on Pancho's line in the show ring!

Get ready for a paw-some weekend celebrating the Chinook breed! Join us in Tamworth, NH, the birthplace of these incredible dogs, on Saturday, Feb 15th.

Saturday, Feb 15th (11am-2pm): Chinook Family Fun Day at the Tamworth History Center (25 Great Hill Rd). Snacks, sleds, and plenty of room for your Chinooks to romp and play! Come and go as you please!

On January 21st, the Avatar Litter turned ONE years old!!! These water, earth, air and fire benders were a lot of fun as we were able to match their characters to their puppy antics! They were also our most colorful rainbow litter yet. 🌈 Two gray and tans, three black and tans, one tawny and one dilute tawny... just needed a buff puppy to round out the complete Chinook collection! I can't believe a year has already flown by. So glad these pups get to be spoiled in their loving homes. Happy First Birthday to Katara, Dez (Zuko), Kai (Aang), Henry (Iroh), Luca (Sokka), Cosmo (Bumi), and Malka (Momo). 🌊🌎💨🔥

These guys are extra special as they are 3rd generation puppies for the COA's CBCP (Chinook Breeding Cross Program) to bring new genetics back into the Chinook gene pool! These puppies qualify for purebred status and their offspring will bring lower COI into the gene pool. Help be a part of Chinook history with this wonderful program.

Yesterday on 12/26, the Holly Jolly Litter turned 7 years old! This litter has fond memories of their arrival. We had to have the family over our house for Christmas that year in case Zazu went into labor, so we had a house full of people with her in the next room! Then on the 26th, we were busy with Zazu who took all day to birth 4 pups, while Jon's mom who was staying with us managed our just turned 4 and 5 year old's! Whew, what journey. Then we saved the top of our Christmas tree all decorated to take with their going home photos 2 months after Christmas! 😂 Jon gave me crap for that but hey, can't be a Holly Jolly litter without the Christmas tree! 🎄 Happy Birthday to Apollo, Zia, Vader and Simba! Sorry your birthday is so close to Christmas, I hope you didn't get jipped on your gifts! 🎁
