2024 USCA National Championship in Pomfret, CT. Every handler team places 1-5 including some that aren't in the picture feed VERTEX Canine Essentials to their dogs. Handlers don't get to this level of achievement by accident or coincidence. They work smarter and they feed smarter. Congratulations to you all!

Something to think about….. The ratio of men to women participating in dog sports can vary significantly depending on the specific sport and region. Generally, women tend to make up a substantial portion of competitors, often estimated around 40-60% in many disciplines. However, in certain areas, particularly in more traditional or historically male-dominated sports, the ratio can skew more heavily toward men. Overall, while women are increasingly represented, disparities still exist in various dog sport communities. In the world of IGP, condescension and misogyny can significantly detract from the sport, often overshadowing the immense talent and dedication of female handlers. Many women in the sport face belittling remarks or are viewed as less capable, despite showcasing exceptional skills and knowledge. This discriminatory attitude not only discourages talented individuals from pursuing their passion but also limits the community’s growth and diversity. By sidelining female contributions, the sport misses out on innovative perspectives and approaches, ultimately hindering its development and vibrancy. Recognizing and valuing all participants, regardless of gender, is essential for fostering a more inclusive and dynamic IGP community.
