AMPP is happy to announce our next seminar: "Thriving, Not Just Surviving, With Your Teenaged Dog!"

What: A great training on working with adolescent dogs, including 2.5 CEUs available for CPDT

We have an extra special installment of Pet Sitters and Their Pets this week!
Meet Nick and his pets!
Pippin is a 14-year-old Pomeranian that gets carried everywhere she goes.
Leon is a 5-year-old rescue who loves lap naps!
Brambles is a 3-year-old rabbit who lives to eat.
Scuttle is a 7-year-old non-releaseable crow! Nick has a State Permit and Federal Education Permit for Scuttle.
Nick often does conservation outreach programs with Scuttle. Catch one of their upcoming appearances at:
- Oakmont Library: March 31st
- Penn Hills Library: April 14th
- Winnie Palmer Nature Reserve: April 25th

New Dog Training Classes available for registration!
Please read the descriptions below to see which class is right for you and your pet!

Adult Dog Manners Class:

This class is for dogs aged 5 months or older who are ready to advance skills learned in Puppy class or who are new to training. The dogs attending this class must not be reactive or aggressive towards people or other dogs. This class is designed to simulate real life situations and teach the skills necessary to navigate them successfully. Over the course of six weeks you will work alongside your dog to learn skills that translate perfectly into your everyday life, including basic obedience like “sit”, “down”, and “leave it”, loose leash walking skills, and impulse control. All dogs attending this class are required to have age appropriate vaccines (DHPP/DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies) and have had a f***l sample analyzed and deemed free from intestinal parasites by a veterinarian.

**IF YOUR DOG IS SCHEDULED TO BE SPAYED OR NEUTERED DURING THIS 6 WEEKS TIME FRAME PLEASE CONTACT US BEFORE REGISTERING!**



Scheduled to begin:

Tuesday March 4, 2025 at 6:00pm (6 weeks class ending on April 8, 2025)

Saturday March 29, 2025 at 11:30am (6 weeks class ending on May 17, 2025, skipping April 12th and 19th due to Passover and Easter)

Puppy Manners Class:

This class is for Puppies aged 8 Weeks to 16 Weeks (2 months to 4 months) to specifically address important early socialization and manners. All Puppies are required to have age appropriate vaccines (DHPP/DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies*) and have had a f***l sample analyzed and deemed free from intestinal parasites by a veterinarian. *Rabies vaccine may be administered as early as 12 weeks but is at the discretion of your veterinarian.
