If you have followed us on this page for a long time, you know that we always do a recap at the end of every year, and to be honest, I don’t think I’ve been wanting to face myself with reliving this year. And after writing out a novel, I didn’t wanna feel like a sob story so I erased it and I’m just gonna leave you with a few points.

We are still hoping for good outcomes on Skyla’s fingers but sometimes our hopes are down because that knuckle just keeps seizing up but we have more tendon action.

Smart with Chicks was reserve year end champion and achieved the Superior Merit Award.

And we have the best barn family. Thank you all so much for staying with us when things started out real rough for us this year.

For anyone reading this, know that when bad luck strikes like it did for us this year, it’s not here to last, but you will enjoy the little things a lot more. Things will take a turn for the better again. And if you ever need someone to talk to, we are always here.

We know that 2026 already has its challenges ahead, but we are hoping for positive outcomes on all ends….cause at the end of the day, it always finds a way to work out.

REALITY CHECK!!!!

Why laundry is so much harder out in the country? Because every single load is extra power, extra heavy soil level, deep fill water, I don’t even attempt a different cycle anymore. 🤣🤣🤣

And yes it’s a two hour cycle and my kids can literally have another load within that 2 hour. 🤦‍♀️

So if you wonder if my kids are ever clean, the answer is simply No!! But I am trying. 🤣

This mare is so easy to ride. Whether you wanna trail ride or show her, this mare will do it and she will be super safe for you. She is the confident mare and super comfortable to ride. The one that will babysit you and make you look good all at once.

Anyone needing a finished reiner turned into a versatility horse? 🐎

This horse is phenomenal. So collected, easy lead changer huge stop and y’all can judge his spins. Pleasure and trail are a breeze on him and he tracks and turns with that cow from the moment we put him on them. He’s is going to make you a winner. 🏆 he made the level 4 finals at the Congress Futurity with as a 3 year old. Won a couple regional shows, but hasn’t been shown much since due to being the trainers horse.
