Save the Chimps x Bryan Adams Collection
The Bryan Adams Collection features 36 paintings, each a collaboration between rock icon Adams, who painted the base coats, and ape artists from Save the Chimps, who added the brushstrokes 🎨. Each abstract, acrylic painting is named for one of the Grammy winner’s song titles or lyrics, and Adams carved his initials into the corner of each piece.

Air Force Island - Save the Chimps
It has been a rainy day here at the sanctuary, but the residents have been enjoying their islands in between rain storms.
Hurricane Milton Update
#HurricaneMilton Update: We want to thank everyone for your support and well wishes. The chimps stayed safe, calm and cozy indoors with extra blankets and enrichment.
Post-storm evaluations are currently underway to assess any damage to our structures and habitats before our residents can return to them. We have some significant cleanup and repairs ahead. Fallen trees, branches, and loss of some power are being addressed to ensure the sanctuary remains a safe haven for our residents. We will continue to provide you with updates as we learn more. 🌴 💪
A huge thank you to our amazing team and supporters like you for making it possible to keep our sanctuary safe and resilient. If you’d like to help us repair, consider making a donation today. Every bit helps us prepare for the future and keep our sanctuary strong. 🐵 💚

💚 Meet Sally & Spencer 💚
In honor of #NationalSonsDay, we’re excited to introduce you to Sally and her son Spencer (37), both residents of Tapioca's island! At 52, Sally is the eldest chimp on Tapioca’s island. After years in research labs, she was rescued by Save the Chimps and now enjoys peace, sunshine, the loving companionship of her son and chimpanzee family.
Despite her tough past, Sally is thriving with the love of her family and the special care from our staff. 💛 Though she’s shy, her gentle spirit shines during quiet, one-on-one moments with her caregivers.
Every donation helps us reach our $100,000 Giving Day for Apes goal to support lifelong care for chimps like Sally. 💚
🎥 Watch Curator Skye Conners share Sally’s heartwarming story, and help us provide the peaceful life she and her friends deserve.
Air Force Island - Save the Chimps
Air Force Island was the first island built at Save the Chimps for the original 21 chimpanzees rescued from the Air Force in 2001. It is now home to Late's family, a group of 22. The eldest chimp in this group is Jeff at the age of 48.
You can support our elderly residents through our Giving Day for Apes campaign. Your gift of $5 or more can also help us win cash prizes from the Giving Day sponsors! savethechimps.org/gdfa
