Vet called. Ponce is ready to come home. He has transformed into his caged lion mode and is flipping everything over

Picked Ponce up from the cat hospital yesterday afternoon and there were two different families picking up
Pet ashes ahead of me. Such a sadness.

Vet tech said Ponce let her hold him like a baby when they removed the catheter and IV and I had to check that she was giving me the right cat. No one holds Ponce like a baby. Not since he was tiny. He must have been stoned out of his mind to allow that.

And then I hefted Ponce out of there asap to get home ahead of the storm.

We caught his health issue in time. He’s at the kitty hospital for two or three days recovering.

Diet begins again next week

Still stressed from the dog.

Older photos of Ponce. I dropped him at the Vet this morning. The crystals in the urinary track issue has returned and he is very sick. The new dog is just pure chaos. I suspect Ponce has been getting to the dog food and water, not good for him and he’s been overeating.. everything.

Will keep you posted. We are not under any hurricane watches or warnings, yet. Hoping we caught this soon enough. He’s one very unhappy cat.

I’m sharing this ... and although it looks horribly violent it’s really not. At certain times of day, Elsa thinks it’s time for us to go outside. She is relentlessly loud about it. Ponce is absolutely over her crabbing. He doesn’t hurt her. She sounds like he’s killing her but he’s actually not. They do this at least two or three times a day. I just want you to understand these are not typical house cats. Elsa can jump 8 feet in the air to the top of a door from a dead stop crouch. She can, and has, caught a squirrel as big as herself and taken it to the top branch of a tree. When she wants out she annoys every other living being in the house.
