This little horse is all you’ve been looking for!! He walk, trot, and lopes, stops and backs, will go out on the trail alone or in a group. For sure not fancy broke but he is broke. Has been used by all levels of riders. He’s friendly but not completely in your pocket. Doesn’t seem to be spooky and goes along with about everything! Gets along with neighbors at my house and has been used to a herd setting.

I think I had record yawns today from this guy!! It’s always good to take the time and look at how symmetrical our horses are. Haven’t ran across a perfect one yet but if we’re aware of their body it’ll make us aware if their performance capabilities and shortcomings. As owners it’s our job to pay attention and help our horses where we can. I have this guy for a month and I have plans to make him feel much better and perform comfortably.

One thing I like to do for the horses I have in is pony them out for a walk or trot. I have a couple large, forward, safe, experienced geldings that make horses step out and move themselves. They get to move freely and correctly without a rider getting in the way. We go through all different terrain depending on the horse’s requirements. Thankful Naomi was free to give me a hand this afternoon.

Proud of this little horse’s progress. She’s more sensitive that some but still wants to please and be busy. Today she led our 3 mile ride with all the dogs running in and out of the bushes, Naomi and I talking and all the other normal occurrences on a trail ride. She still spooked a few times but was completely manageable 💪🏽

This is how hard he’s sitting back and wanting things to work out. Thankful for a strong rear gate😳 I’m thankful for every horse I meet and all they teach me.

Pay attention to how your horse stands(feet and head placement) and listen to what they’re trying to tell you. Don’t be afraid to get help when you need it!! I’ve been at this a while and have had numerous people help me along the way that I’m absolutely thankful for.

Now you’ll see he has stepped out with his left hind making him stand more square but right hind hasn’t moved much. You can see him really trying to work things out on his hind end by sitting on the back door and rocking. He does not drop to go p*e, pretty severe restrictions, but you’ll notice the dripping urine.

I’m posting a few videos so you can get a picture of some of what we’re doing here. This is an EquiVibe session, they’re all a little different depending on what I feel is most beneficial.

Notice first how Patrick is standing, where he is comfortable…… he is not square, standing at an angle to the left. Hind feet together. These are new pads so you can also see that his right hind has stayed in place where his left has been moving.

**Patrick has some pretty strong muscle restrictions. Can I tell you why, where exactly or when it began? Nope, not my job. But I can point out what is currently being most effected and tell you where I’m going to start. Truth is a lot of times we don’t know where things started or why.

Secret is about the cutest little guy you can find!! Been fun for Cable to learn with and play with. Easy to catch and handle, great for lead line and kids. He has been used as a breeding stallion and has plenty of nice foals out there.

Was shown some and won reserve nation champion weanling stallion in 2008.

We have this mare in for some rehab. She had an accident out on a high line and damaged muscles on her rt hind. We’re doing manual bodywork, EquiVibe and soon in hand exercises. You can see she likes to lean or rub on her hind end, she learned that it relieves pressure. Can also see in last picture that her right hip is lower than left while standing square.

We’ve been working on some desensitizing and mounting from random objects. Bunny is a sensitive pony so we find an approach that suits her needs.

Sometimes horses are worked a couple times a day in shorter sessions, this morning was ba****ck with halter but this afternoon she’ll be saddled. Being flexible is best!!

Pearl is as safe as they come!! Will happily lead out on a trail or follow along. Nice forward alert walk to keep up with the big horses, no spook, not hot, no issues. Does prefer trails to arena. Perfect for smaller rider at any level and can build confidence while still being fun. Up to date on deworming and feet.

Ruby is sweet, safe and ready for that beginner rider! She will build confidence and be a great addition for anyone to have around. Ruby is not fancy broke but she is safe broke!! No spook on trails and will happily move around an arena. Good for a smaller rider. Ruby is still putting on some weight but is currently up to date on teeth, deworming, and feet. Does require alfalfa hay as grass does not settle well in her stomach.

This is one of the nice little horses you all have been waiting for! She’s a fun mare that walks confidently out on trails, will lead or follow, she is not fancy broke for an arena but is safe. Does pick up a walk, trot and lope but feel she’s happiest on trails. Although she’s a smaller horse she marched right out so I believe she’ll be best suited for at least a confident beginner.

My schedule is crazy so I have limited times to show her and can not hold her as she is on consignment. I do require a good home and responsible owners!!
