Who doesn't like puppies! These beauties are looking for a home. They are a special Mexican mix of awesomeness! They are 4 months old and are expected to grow to about 45 pounds. Maple (female) and her siblings Waffles, Pancakes and Muffin were abandoned very young and are making the best of shelter life. They are playful and intelligent and a big hit with volunteers and visitors to the Saturday market. They would love a forever home before it gets too hot to fly! Currently in Puerto Vallarta with flight options to BC

RAMBLER UPDATE

"Our boy Rambler is doing very well. He loves to be cuddled, playing with stuffed toys and looking for sticks with his brother Arlo in the ocean. He and Jasmine are very sweet to each other and love each other very much (who is actually his biological half-sister - we did a DNA test) (she was rescued with Rambler if you remember). Rambler still doesn't like cold weather very much, but he loves to play in the snow! Rambler loves to be wrapped in blankets and sleeps in the bed between me and my partner all night most nights. They are both our sweet, fun loving dogs. We are very grateful to have them"

WANTED: Victoria / Vancouver island foster home (or forever home!)
House trained 8 year old Lab shepherd cross is looking for his forever home under the loving care of an amazing foster in Victoria. His foster parents are snow birds who also volunteer in Mexico and they'd like to help with his transition and ideally he can stay in Victoria. Finn is a sweet boy who is timid with new people and new places. He is good with all dogs - doesn't rush them, but enjoys being in their company (no thanks for cats though). He is non reactive on walks but prefers a quiet sanctuary at home (guests are stressful for him). Looking for a home with a yard as he loves to sunbathe, and one without young kids (they are scary for him). Coco has found a home!

Firstly, a huge thank you to Coco's foster family - the dynamic mother daughter duo Carolyn & Maliya and their sweet dog Rosie welcomed her (in a long line of fosters before her) and juggled two dogs while selling their home and getting ready to move. They even drove her to meet her new family on their annual summer camping trip. It was a tough goodbye, and they soaked up her amazing cuddles to the very last minute, but she found an amazing home, and that always makes it a little easier.

Coco was adopted by another mother daughter duo - Terry and Kate of New Denver, BC, their dog Henry, and the cat who's still deciding if Coco is safe. Coco will enjoy her new acreage, is loving the private beach, and the endless trails. Moving is tough and scary, but she's already moving in for the big cuddles, and is enjoying having Henry show her the way. We couldn't be happier for her.

Thank you to this team of wonderful women for your patience, compassion and kindness in giving her everything she needs.
