We do not make daily posts on Facebook because we are an all-volunteer organization. All of us volunteers have jobs doing other things, but our passion for pets guides us to help them in our 'free time.' Some of the things we are busy doing between work and family obligations on a daily basis are:
- planning & scheduling spay/neuter transport days
- matching people with spay/neuter resources for their pets
- returning correspondence about spay/neuter, dogs needing rehoming, etc.
- sending out spay/neuter vouchers
- processing financial assistance applications

If you know someone who could benefit from our spay/neuter program, please pass the word about it. We've been helping dogs and cats in our area since 2009 and offer various options. These are all listed on our website, www.happypawshappyhomes.org

We were able to add a spay/neuter transport day to our calendar thanks to the great Allegheny Spay and Neuter Clinic/Animal Welfare Council of the Alleghenies!

While most of the day's appointments are already filled with folks from our waiting list, we have 5 appointments available for MALE cats that we need to fill. Date is September 5. $70 covers neutering. Transportation provided between Huntingdon, Tyrone and the clinic in Woodland. A $15 deposit will need to be paid through our website to secure the spot by 8/26. Interested?
