I've trained with some of the best! I learned the basics from Brenda Lindsey of "Central FL Taxidermy Studio", and then went on to receive Advanced Waterfowl Taxidermy training fr

om Matt Smith of "Blue Ribbon Birds DVD". I have also received Advanced Turkey Taxidermy training with John Beard of "Birds Only Taxidermy". All three of these great taxidermists are not only mentors, but I'm proud to say that over the years, they have become good friends. From working as a professional Faux Artist on Palm Beach for several years in the late 80s and early 90's, and being "completely ate up" with waterfowl and turkey hunting since 1979 , I was pretty much destined to be the Avian Artist I am today. I've been chasing waterfowl all over the SE US for over 40 years, so I have experienced ducks and geese, up close and personal, in their natural habitat. I have also been turkey hunting for many years as well, and my realistic paint jobs and poses set me apart from the pack. I have impeccable attention to detail, and have developed a keen eye for color matching. My vast experience with ultimate finishing techniques and color matching gives me the advantage needed to recreate the trophy you harvested.
