🛑ALERT🛑

These last few days have been unmanageable for many of my families living without a roof.
Children displaced trying to stay dry or find a place to couch surf.
Yesterday we found 11 temporary places for these families to stay . It’s def not permanent but we were able to provide shelter and a soft place to land.

As I came back home to shower and get out of my wet clothes I stood in the shower letting the hot water hit my face and I was overcome with emotion.
Grateful for the struggles that came my way to provide for my family but helpless for those who lost the challenge.
And now they sit hovering over their kids to keep the rain from getting them drenched.

We at Elev8hope have Ms Rinas House of Blessings. Taking families in is the easy part. Case managing them is the hard part. It takes finances. It takes money to build them up - transportation to and from work , food, housing , bedding , pillows , mental health , medical , dental , money management program , job advancement , teaching them basic domestic budgeting , baby needs , diapers , security , gyno appts, counseling, education …the list goes on..
We then find housing and set them up to sustain independently.

‼️Yesterday it hit me I need to do more.
I have decided to restructure the House of Blessings so we can fit more families. But fitting more families needs more money for case management. ‼️

On June 16th I will be turning 54 !

I would like to give it to God and see if I can bless others with collecting funds on my birthday. I know I have been placed here to be HIS HANDS AND FEET.

I have never done this before but I would like to try to raise as much as possible with an aim of $5,400 which represents my age.

If we can top that great. If we don’t I will not see it as a failure just as God doesn’t think this is the right timing.

I give it to HIM.🙏🏼
