A real show girl that brought Ted and his cowboy hat into the National limelight. She was bred three times and helped produce four CHs.

Trixie was one of four in her litter to finish. She started her show career at the BHCA Nationals, going Best in Senior Sweepstakes, in 1986. Finishing in America in nine shows, she went to Canada with Davida Scott, Scots-Moore Bassets, and was WB, BW at the Canadian National Specialty, finishing her title in Canada. Mrs. Davida Scott liked to compete in Bermuda so, Trixie earned that title too.

After returning home to Florida, Trixie was BOB at the Kentuckiana Specialty and BOS at the Suncoast Specialty in 1989 and BOS at the Pilgrim Specialty in 1994, achieving that distinction from the Veteran Bitch Class. She went on to garner an Award of Merit, again from the Veteran Bitch Class, at the 1992 BHCA National Specialty and won BISS at the Suncoast Specialty in 1993, also from the Veteran Class. In 1995 she obtained her Therapy Dog certification.

Vets ALWAYS say must be a food allergy ! Here put your dog on the hydrolyzed or limited ingredient diet that cost crazy amount of money. Can dogs have food allergies yes ! But I don’t believe it is as much as they tell pet owners.
Seasonal or environmental allergies just like people are common with dogs as well.

Pupdate .. Rynell Barney’s owner send us this Message ! Thank you for loving him !!

Barney is our handsome boy, weighing a whopping 70lbs. Doc says he's a healthy, happy boy. He has a white young German Sheppard girlfriend, that lives behind us. They run back and forth along the fence and then do zooming around the yard. He is the sweetest and the most devious, all in one package. He sneaks into clothes baskets, grabs something and runs with it. Best boy ever!
