Hey everyone :) As many of you will know my personal FB account was hacked and has disappeared off the face of the earth. FB have been zero help or support and it looks like it's gone forever. As a consequence I now have extremely limited access to my business account as my parter is an added admin but we don't have full access to manage the page.

I can post updates and check messages via my partners account and that's about it. I've been working on how l can resolve this for over a week now with no luck. This is super inconvenient and means I have no instant access to the page throughout the day, I can check messages in the evenings and that about it. Just a wee reminder to everyone about the change in payments for this year. I’ve spoken to most people individually but for anyone I’ve missed please rememeber to bring cash to your appointment going forward. I will no longer be able to accept card payments in store as a very small business the impact on us with card fees and everything else that comes along with facilitating card payments is no longer a viable business option for me.

For any in store purchases there’s no change to payment methods. It will only be the cost of your groom that must be paid in cash or direct bank transfer at the time of the appointment and before you leave the shop. Thank you all for your continued support and understanding 🥰 💵

Merry Christmas to all my wonderful doggie clients and their owners! 🎄🎅🎁 That’s me finished up for a short Christmas break but will see a few of you again in between Christmas and new year. I can’t thank you all enough for the overwhelming amount of cards, gifts and copious amounts of chocolate that has fuelled myself and the shop staff throughout the last few weeks 🙈 I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas, however you chose to spend it 🥰

We can’t believe it’s the last working week before Santa paws arrives! 🎅 🎄

It’s been one heck of a year and I can’t thank you all enough for keeping me so busy! Too busy to even take Christmas pictures this year! I’m so sorry. Big changes next year will mean more time to put those special finishing touches onto everyone’s grooming experience again. And I’ll maybe even get time to sit down to eat lunch without hair in it sometimes too! 🙈

🚨 A few wee announcements in this post 🚨

I’ll be working on the 2024 diary this weekend whilst we are away in the middle of nowhere hiding from the firework madness. I hope everyone staying home has a plan in place and everyone stays as safe and calm as possible ❤️

If you’d like your 2024 schedule please comment or message below. I’m only booking up till June 2024 as I need to have a bit of flexibility in life and that can’t happen when my diary is booked 12 months in advance sometimes 🙈

There will also be a price increase across the board for next year. I’ve kept my prices as low as possible even after the move to the salon with the huge expense of overheads and other costs to run the business. I’m barley averaging minimum wage for some dogs these days and I can’t sustain this for my business or my health anymore. I’ll chat to everyone individually re price increases over the coming weeks however it will be from the 1st Jan 2024.

As always thank you for keeping me so busy and for your continued loyalty. I appreciate every single one of my clients ❤️🥰🐾

That’s us back from our wee break away in Carradale. It was an eventful week in more ways than one but it was still great to get away and enjoy the sheer remoteness of the Kintyre peninsula coastline ❤️

Just a heads up and to give anyone who may be disappointed plenty of notice. Spocks checked the diary and he can confirm there are no Saturday slots left for this year. There will be no way to change your weekend appointments unless I have a very rare Saturday cancellation or unless someone is able to swap with you. I have zero wiggle room and no control over the situation 🙈

There are also only a couple of slots left in December and all only in the first week. Last 3 weeks are completely full. If you haven’t got your last grooms for the year booked I’d recommend we get them in the diary now as there’s only a handful of slots for the whole year left and most dogs are only 2 grooms away from Christmas 🎄

Thank you for all your support and continued loyally, it means the world and it’s the reason my diary is always so full 🙈 🌎 ❤️

Emi pet is ultrasonic teeth cleaning suitable for dogs with up to mild/moderate tartar build up. It can prevent periodontal disease, eliminates bad breath, heals the gums and kills all bacteria it touches whilst being very gentle on your dogs. They just have to sit and allow the brush to be held on their teeth for 30 seconds at a time, simple huh?!

The treatment reduces the likelihood of your dog having to go under an anesthetic for dental treatment if their teeth are maintained regularly with at home brushing, natural chews, a good balanced diet and emi pet treatments.

Dental disease is often picked up too late when your dogs have terrible breath, usually indicative of periodontal disease, tooth decay and a solid build up of tartar. Treat your pet before you get to this stage as there is no other option but to seek expensive veterinary treatment.

Initial emi pet sessions will last approximately 45 mins to an hour as I like to do a full consultation and positively introduce the brush and techniques. The first session is a stand alone appointment and cannot be added to a groom as I don’t like to flood dogs with too much all at once. Once teeth are back to a naturally clean state maintenance sessions can be booked in with regular grooms so we can offer a full MOT and service 😜
