Oh! You caught me trying to sunbathe on my birthday! I’m 9 years old today. I’m sitting in the window waiting for it to warm up so I can go on patrol with dad. I think it’s going to be a long wait.

It’s not a tumor! Just a swollen leg muscle probably from a sprain or something. I knew it all along, but Dad made me go to the vet to get it checked out.
Going to the vet is very traumatic for me.

If you want to get ice cream in December, get your parents to take you to the vet.

Limping is a sure fire way. Then get all dramatic during the exam like your having an emotional crisis so your parents feel bad. They will give you ice cream when you get home!

Vet thinks I tweaked my paw yesterday somehow, but I refuse to show pain in front of her in case she thinks I’m weak!!

I definitely DON’T have Lyme though, so that’s good to know.
