Feeding the quails and spotted a spotted python scoping the joint out. I gave him an egg he is too small to eat them. But he's fully grown and in good condition.

Thought I'd share our other business adventure that we started up 4 months ago. This is where most my energy is at lately as it takes hours to tend to all out fish and collect eggs.

We are breeding fish for our home fish farm store.

16 strains of fancy guppies
4 species of Killifish
Cherry shrimp
Leopard Frog pleco
Snails
Pea puffers
Bunch of endlers & cheaper guppies

Specialising in nano Aquatics

Over the next few months, I'll be offering up some enclosures, hatchy rack, incubator and a bunch of breeding equipment. I may offer some snakes as well but I'm still pondering on that side of things.

Looking at the sheer cost to breed again it is not going to happen.

Update: 2026 I will be purchasing a breeder's license when this one expires. I only have 6 Cape Yorks left in my collection so I may be looking out for another Archer River and a Wenlock River for future breeding projects.

Had some bad luck last couple of years with snakes dying to old age, cold snap and food.

Breeder license 1 only allows you to have 50 individuals and breeder license 2 is unlimited.

I now breed my own snake food so am working on conditioning and size.

This year I will be upsizing all their enclosures.

I will need to figure out baby size feeds if and when I start breeding again but I have a couple years to get my setup and food all sorted for that.

The only concern I have is freighting and the sheer cost to breed with little to no return now that cape york prices are rediculously cheap.

Hi there everyone ☺ I was curious how all your capes are going and what colours they ended up becoming now they are all adults? Please post pictures of the babies you baught from me all those years ago. Did any of you breed them?

RIP My beautiful boy Mizery - NT BHP he reached 21years old and passed away today. :(
