And following on from the previous post
Our 7 year Crown AA mare Amanda Z (Norbert 444 x Jasper 366) not only got a 1st Premie, she made MODEL!!!
I believe she is only the 3rd mare in the UK to be graded Model!
She is an amazing horse and such a character. She certainly would rather have been doing dressage than strutting the around the triangle but we are so happy with the results.
Many thanks to all the team!
Lauren Jenkins for the work you do with her every day
Sjoerd Ruiter for caring for her this summer and helping us all on the day. Your advice is golden.
Stal de Mersken - particularly Age and Ymte for all the work training and running her. I think she ran your arms out Ymte! Rachael for all the help and the UPS horse mobile!

Finally our England 2023 Friesian Inspection posts now the pics are in! ( and firstly a big thanks to our photographer Jane Lazenby for such great pictures)
WHAT a weekend it was!
This was a big year for us - our 3 year old Mare Mirjam fan Fraithwen (Tiede 501 x Stendert 447 bred in the UK by Fraithwen Friesians)was having her first adult grading. She had a 1st Premie as a yearling and our hopes were high.
Our sweet Mirjam didnt dissapoint us and showed what a powerhouse she has become! She got a 1st Premie and Provisional Crown (Provisional Kroon) which is amazing !
We are so proud of her and want to thank many people for getting her where she is - it is a team effort!

Dear Members,
As you will probably be aware, over the last month preparations for the EGM were taking place to appoint additional Directors to the board of FHAGBI trading as UKFS. At the EGM held on Wednesday 30th November, the online and proxy votes were counted by the verifiers appointed by the Directors in post at the time. On Thursday 1st December the results were declared and 6 new directors were to be appointed to fill the vacant positions. On Friday 2nd December, 3 of the newly elected directors declined to take up their posts. Shortly after this the remaining directors and some of committee stood down with immediate effect. This was communicated to the membership by email and on both the Members and Public pages.
The newly appointed directors are;
Ruth Sheikh
Veronika Biedai
Ian Garbett
We have now taken on the responsibility of managing the company on your behalf. We have requested a hand over from the previous directors of all company business and property including the website, pages and all other social media. We are hoping that the handover will be expedited quickly to ensure the Passport Issuing Organisation requirements have continuity for you, the members.
It has been heart warming to see so many of you already stepping up to the fold and offering support as potential committee members. If you feel you would have the time and energy to help out, please feel free to drop any of the newly appointed directors a message.
Our goal is to grow members involvement and expand the Board of Directors in the nearest future to include Directors from Scotland and Ireland as well as from different backgrounds. Only together we can make Association unified and flourish.
We can be contacted on the below email address:
[email protected]
We do appreciate you will have many questions over this transition period. Please bear with us while we work hard to ensure continuity and all questions will be answered as soon as we can manage.
Yours faithfully,
Ruth, Veronika & Ian

Pixiesmeadow Cutter Choice. 👀🏡 Gypsy cob colt 2 yr old colt standing 13hh to make approx 13.2hh. Loads of feather. Dam known as the Horse Box Filly bred by Eathel Lee who goes back to Johnny Webb. Sire of the mare sold for 100k. Sire standing at 13.2 No blue eyes. Has the potential to excel in the show ring ridden or inhand. Excellent confirmation, fantastic straight mover. Would grade for breeding stallion. Excellent to handle, catch, farrier etc. Photos really don't do this boy justice. No sweetitch mane short as he's been eating the grass through the post and rail. Can be gelded at new owners expense whilst here. See comments for more pics Pm or message 07791406139
