Such a fantastic result with a Runner Up Best in Group today. Even with the rain falling just as we were lined up , Meg dodged the raindrops and South Australian judge, Mrs J. Butterfield, awarded her BIG 2. So proud of her achievements. Too wet to get a photo with the judge so just a rosette photo. And how lovely is it??

Go to Geraldton, they said. It will be fun, they said. What they didn't mention was the wind- poor Meg's coat went everywhere but down. Definitely a challenge. My princess did her usual star performance. Gary, Shadow and Belle were our official cheer squad, surviving Geraldton's efforts to blow us away.

No photos with the judge this weekend but some lovely 'frillies' to bring home. In the Open Show, Meg won Best of Breed and went on to win Best State Bred in show. Another amazing result. She is such a good show girl in the ring. Doesn't put a paw wrong and always makes me so proud.

What a fantastic weekend of shows for our show princess, abley supported by her mum, Princess Shadow and Aunty, Montana Belle and human dad, Gary. Started on Saturday with a Best in Group and State Bred in Group, under New Zealand judge , Mrs S. Walker-. Then on Sunday followed up with Best of Breed, Best State Bred in Group, under Qld judge, Mrs B. Margin, followed by Best State Bred in Show. Such a wonderful achievement for our girl and such a proud breeder, groomer and handler (me lol). Would really like to thank the judges for recognising Meg and really, really, really thank those friends who told me NOT to clip her off 2 months ago. I will be forever grateful to you.

Our gorgeous Shadow (Australian Champion Shellbears Moon Shadow) turned 7 today. She is the most wonderful, caring companion of all of us but is definitely her dad's special girl and official 'nanny' and protector of 'her' human kids. Beautiful mother of 8 puppies and a show champion in her own right. Love you our sweet girl. You are such an important part of our family. Xx

To all the wonderful people who sent their good luck wishes to Meg for last night's show- it worked thank you! Nutmeg won Best in Group, Class in Group then went on to win Class in Show. All from a Canadian judge who is a havanese specialist who absolutely raved about her and stayed to watch the 'In Show' judging and came and congratulated us. What a night- so incredibly proud. Oh and the decision has been made- she won't be clipped for a while. Lol

I think Belle is feeling like her old self again- except that I can't fill her up. Lol. She is well enough for a bath and clip about which she was most put out. On a walk with Nutmeg.

When you breed for wonderful temperaments and you see this, you know you are doing something right. 10 week old Indigo with her incredibly gentle 18 month old brother Hugo, who I also bred, playing together after Indigo joining the family just 2 days ago. In this case, the very best example of nature and nurture joining to produce beautiful dogs. Such a proud breeder.

Blueberries and out to play.

Doesn't matter who you are, you cannot escape the attack of the puppies. Dad has to practise his "puppy shuffle" getting leaves out of the play pen.

How smart is this little boy? He took his chicken neck into the tunnel so no-one could pinch it from him.

A new taste sensation- Mum's favourite treat- Kangaroo jerky. Great to help our teeth come through.

So incredibly brave little, 'Bear'.

When mum is starting to wean us and she just drops by to check on us, we have to problem solve to get a drink at the milk bar. Love those little legs working hard.💕💕💕

Play time puppy style.

Miss Valentine has very little understanding of personal space. Lol

Mum added some length to our area today to encourage us to strengthen our legs and muscles. She added little lumps to give us a challenge. Next we are going to work out how we can escape.

You know they are growing up when they look at you when you are taking a video of them. Such a gorgeous little face.

We are getting stronger every day and practising walking.
