Meet 8 year old "Shy". She is believed to be a Lab/Blue Heeler mix.

The family has had for 4 years and she was adopted from a local rescue.

I was contacted to help with a very unique situation. This is something I have not come across before.

Recently, the husband had a stroke. He is recovering very well.

As we all know, dogs are very preceptive and the husband is Shy's "person". Ever since he came home from the hospital, Shy sees it as her job to protect him.

She is doing this even with people that she knows really well. There have been a few incidents and the family decided no more visitors until Shy can be trusted.

We have had 2 sessions, which have been about earning Shy's trust.

Look for updates on how we are going to solve this case.

If you look real close, you would probably guess that new client, Toffee, is a Golden/Pyrenees mix.

How unique! Toffee is a 3 year old male who just had his first session. He just arrived at his new home in the beginning of January.

I already know, that like his name, Toffee is very sweet. He is robust like a Golden and will jump up to greet you. He may also grab your hand.
The Foundation course will teach the family how to clear up all unwanted behaviors. Afterall, don't we have to teach the dog manners?

I think he has the most unique face. Stay tuned for more on this boy.

Say "Hello" to Woody! That sweet expression belongs to a 6 month old, Goldendoodle.

Woody learned so much at his puppy class. His humans feel be could benefit from one on one coaching. We had our first session this past week and we worked on "Stranger Danger". Woody has just a mild case of anxiety.

Woody was very focused on me and I know the three of us will be able to help him. I am all about setting up the humans for success. Therefore, they need to know the steps and techniques.

We have some work to do and in the meantime, I will enjoy this sweet bundle of curls.

This is 14 month old, mixed breed rescue, Lily Mae. She is from Home At Last. The DNA was done and she is 28% Siberian Husky so this trainer is "all in". Look how gorgeous.

Lily Mae is new to me, but her human is not. This is yet another client who worked with me a dog's lifetime ago. Once again, I am so appreciative of the loyalty.

Lily Mae is so affectionate and open to snuggle with a complete stranger anytime. At the consultation, she curled right up into my lap.

She is 23% Lab, which is the favorite breed of her human. She says that Lily Mae can be stubborn. Hmmm Could that be the Siberian Husky in her?

Say "Hello" to Kai. She is an 11 month old rescue. A client pointed her in my direction and I am so happy she did.

Kai is a spitfire. In fact, her Mom calls her a "bullet". She does everything at warp sp*ed.

Kai is lucky enough to be with a person who is completely devoted to her education. They have already attended a group class, however, she believes Kai needs more. This is often the case with group classes.

We are just getting started with this cutie, so look for more on Kai.

This bundle of curls is named Gia. She was referred to me by a client in the neighborhood. I love when this happens. Gia and Toby get a long great.

Gia's humans reached out for help with a few issues.

Gia jumps on people.
Gia nips
Gia will sometimes do excitement p*e
Gia will pull on leash like crazy and serpentine.

Gia is a 4.5 month old Labradoodle puppy. Let the fun begin!
