Our year-in-review continues with the first Red Squirrel SCWC has rehabilitated since 2016! Red squirrels aren’t common in our area, so our team was especially excited to care for this individual and release it back to the wild. We are always prepared for surprises like these with ample food, caging, and most importantly, expertise! You can support our Clinic Team’s efforts with a donation today. We have two different BR dogs spending Christmas with their fosters in Florida and we’re not jealous at all! …well maybe just a teensy bit… 😀

🎄 THE 12 DAYS OF PET-MAS! 🎁

On the tenth day of Pet-mas, the YCSPCA gave to me...

A sweater-clad tabby perched happily! 😺👕

Our lucky #10 pet in our 12 Days of Pet-mas is adoptable Tiger!! 🐯 He loves meeting new people, so he is excited to introduce himself! Tiger will be your snuggle buddy for the holidays! 🥰 He will even be your sous chef 👨‍🍳, as long as he can taste-test your home-cooked chicken and turkey in return. 😋 He is very affectionate with his special person… he is hoping it will be YOU! Tiger was surrendered to the shelter with his brother, Baby Boy, who is likely getting adopted soon. He is still waiting for his turn and does well with other cats in the home. 🐈

While Tiger might occasionally get a little sniffly due to chronic upper respiratory issues 🤧, he’s as happy and playful as ever. His condition is easy to manage with a little extra love and attention, and he promises to fill your home with purrs and affection.
