The North East Spca is at full
Capacity. They are out of space and in need of help from their supporters. If you can foster a
Larger dog or a cat please fill in the foster form on the website. If you can’t foster but want to help you can make a cash donation, donate cleaning supplies or kitty litter, dish washing tablets , liquid laundry soap. Spreading the word that help is needed is appreciated as well. Volunteers are needed to help answer the phone, help walk the dogs, socialize the animals , etc. Thanks.

The NESPCA is fortunate to have been asked to do the booth at the 4H Beef Show this Sunday and Monday, July 7 and 8. We are in need of volunteers to help us out for a few hours. Early risers- 6:00am is meant for you!! If that is too early, then we have another shift starting around 10:45. If you are able to help us out, please let me know. Thanks.

The NESPCA fund raising group and volunteers had a very busy weekend raising funds to help the animals at the Harry and Eve Vickar Center. They had 3 bbqs, sold cash calendars and worked at a wedding. A huge, “Thank you!” To all who helped in any way. We appreciated being asked to help at these events.

With the annual City Wide Garage Sales on this weekend the NESPCA Fundraising Group would like to send a few reminders out!!

The BBQ is currently running 10-2 today at the shelter itself. $10 combo!!

As well as, if at the end of the day you are wanting to donate leftover garage sale items, the shelter would gratefully accept! Just please no clothes and no large furniture!!

The North East SPCA Fundraising Group is announcing NO further NAIL TRIM CLINICS at this time.

We are hoping to resume monthly nail trim clinics again in the near future! So stay tuned for updated posts.

Until then, here is a simple guide to nail trims at home.

The North East Spca will have a table at the Melfort Ag Society’s flea market this Friday and Saturday, May 24 and 25. If you have a couple
Of spare hours and would like to sit at it selling cash calendars, lawn mower raffle tickets and miscellaneous items, please send me a message. Hours are 10-4 but you can choose the time you want. Thanks.

Unfortunately because of the rain we are unable to hold our bbq at Wrights Greenhouse today. 🥲

Come on down next weekend to the SPCA during the annual city wide garage sale though. We’ll be serving up delicious burgers then!!!
