Won’t look Wednesday or a perfect Sunday? 💕
It’s a three day weekend in the U.S. and we are fully embracing relaxation. We had a little excitement last night when the Emergency Broadcast System alerted us to a Tornado Watch. Thankfully, the rotation stayed north of us so we weren’t in the safe space for long.

It’s a good thing Lovie is wearing a purple collar! At a quick glance, it’s hard to see the difference between Lovie and the bed. 😂
It’s a sleepy day here at the Wigglebutt Ranch so I included all three dogs in their preferred sleeping area 😴

Lincoln: Day 1,205 of my captivity.
Lincoln: The HuMom and HuDad are busy doing things that don’t involve me or my sisters. The world does revolve around us so I’m not sure what to do about this injustice. Please advise. Thank you friends.

This is Lincoln’s “I’d like a bite of that” face. 😂
The answer is no my sweet boy but I did give him a treat. We try really hard to keep their digestive system healthy and what I was eating wouldn’t support that goal.

Tess, Lincoln and Lovie love Bocce’s treats and I love Jackie for introducing us to these yummy treats.

Baseball is back and we couldn’t be happier. Our friend invited us to see the Rangers vs Cubs tonight. They’re getting their World Series rings. Yippie!

I hope he hasn’t seen any real trouble since we picked him up at the kennel in 2021. I like to think that “the dog days are over” for our sweet boy. We still cant believe our luck that he joined our family. We love him to the moon and back. 🌙

Saturday thoughts with Lincoln. 💬
We’ve been busy this week having the interior of our house painted. Tess, Lincoln and Lovie stayed at for a week. They were spoiled rotten but ready to come home! We are thankful for the love and care McKee’s shows our babies.

We’ve been quiet lately because my Covid journey morphed into bronchitis. Thankfully, I got some meds and my nurses are still attending to me.

Long time. No see. Because Nurse Tess & Lincoln have been busy taking care of me. 🤢 Check out the second photo for a good Lincoln laugh!
I went to Atlanta last week and came back with Covid. It’s the gift that keeps on giving. This is my second bout. It still sucks but I think having the booster has made it less severe than the first time.
That said, I am off to bed.

Guess who’s celebrating a birthday today?
Mr. Lincoln, LinkE, Linker Stinker, Lincolnus, Linc McStink, Linc-a-roni, “The Boy” turned 5 years old today. 🥳🎂🎉
Lincoln is the golden boy of mischief and we love him to the moon and back. It’s hard to believe that someone turned him into but thank heavens they did! He is the best boy in the world and he’s all ours. 🥰

Please help us celebrate Tess today! It’s her Gotcha Day! 🥳
Five years ago today we picked up our tiny spitfire from her devoted foster parents, Mary and Rusty. By the time the four hour drive home was completed, she and I were BFF’s forever 🥰
A huge thanks to Houston Cocker Spaniel Rescue for literally saving her life. Believe me when I say, rescue saves lives.
Tess is beautiful, fierce, loyal, sweet, and sometimes naughty but always loved. Hug your pups today and tell them it was a long distance hug from Tess. 💞

Throwdown (for a nap) Thursday 😂 . . Has your week been busy or quiet? . . I’ve been swamped at work and it’s starting to feel like a swamp around our neighborhood. It started raining last Friday and it’s rained of and on every day since then. It is safe to say that Tess and Lincoln are not big fans of potty time in the rain. . . When it rains Tess acts so much like my Sam that I feel like I’ve gone back in time and he’s still here. That boy would hold it until he was on the verge of an explosion. I worried about his little bladder! He was like a ballet dancer as he pranced through the wet grass. And heaven forbid if the grass was “too tall.” He earned his title of King Sam. He would’ve loved Princess 👑 Tess.

Is your dog “hungry like a wolf” for every meal or is he/she a more discriminating eater? . . We’ve had 10 dogs and 18 fosters in my adult life and only 2 were picky eaters. Most were “pigs with fur.” 😂 . . Lincoln loves meantime. Tess is hot and cold towards meals but loves treats. Go figure. . . It’s a rainy day here today for the third day in a row so we are hanging inside. Hope you’re relaxing and having dinner with the people and animals you love.

Check out Lincoln the bright eyed Easter bunny cocker spaniel. 🐰 . . Do you have a favorite Easter or holiday treat for the humans in your house? . . When I was a kid we always got a chocolate bunny in our Easter basket. I’m not a big fan of the chocolate bunny so my brother was happy to eat two bunnies. 😂😂 . . Mr. Lincoln’s cataract surgery recovery is going well. He is finished with antibiotics but we still have four eye drops. He doesn’t love the drops but we praise him and give high value treats. His next follow up appointment is on Monday. . . He’s a silly bunny who reminds me of our Sonny (Bunny BooBooHead) a little more each day. 🐰
