Tess has adjusted well to the snow and cold. Lincoln is still confused about the white stuff. Overall, everyone is doing well.
We celebrated our friend Nic's birthday yesterday and today we are relaxing whilst watching football and the snow. Hope you're having a great weekend.

A slow Sunday with my favorite girl is the best kind of day.
Unfortunately, I am struggling to sleep lately but I am thankful to have Tess and Lincoln by my side. They are there anytime, day or night once again proving that dogs are the best.

Tess and Lincoln have officially survived their first real snowstorm. Tess is a champ. Lincoln is confused. No worries though, we will get more snow and he will figure it out.

Word has it that a big storm is headed our way! The forecast is for 5 to 8 inches of snow. Tess and Lincoln are in for a treat as neither have seen more than a dusting in Texas.

The packing has been fast and furious. If I am being honest, I am exhausted. BUT, my eyes are on the prize. We've got this!

This is our last post from the house we've called home for 8 1/2 years. We've made many friends and memories over that time but none more special than our wonderful neighbors Becky and Dalia
When we arrived in Texas we didn't know many people. Our goal was to find our people in a friendly community and that we did. Our friends and realtors "got us" and found just what we needed.
And now on to the next chapter. You can believe it will involve cocker spaniel rescue plus a few other surprises we've got up our sleeve.

It's a new week and we have a Thank You & a Surprise.
Thank you Auntie Wendy for all of our Secret Santa gifts including the stylish bandanas we're modeling. Our Auntie Melissa is a seamstress extraordinaire. We LOVE them ❤️💚
The second December surprise announcement is...
We are MOVING!
After 9+ years in Texas, we are moving our lil booties back to Virginia and we couldn't be happier. This is why we didn't send Christmas cards or decorate for the holiday.
We are in the midst of sorting, trashing, and packing and so far we haven't yelled at each other. 😂 Tess and Lincoln are Texas pups so they're going to have "real" winter for the first time. It should be interesting and I can't wait to share the photos. ☃️❄️

WOW! Merry Secret Santa to us 🎁
We feel SO special and loved. spoiled us and thoughtfully remembered our sweet Lovie. Thank you Wendy, Koda, Wyatt and baby Luke.
This special day reminds us that our cocker spaniel community is a beautiful collection of loving and caring dog parents and a blessing to be cherished.
It also reminds us that Lincoln loves to steal and chew on bows and small packages. 😂

Happy Gotcha/Birthday Tess 🥳
Six years ago this beautiful, tiny dog walked into our lives and we are forever thankful to Houston Cocker Spaniel Rescue.
Tess is the perfect balance of sweet, protective and feisty. She has my heart forever.
If you're thinking of adding a dog to your family soon, PLEASE consider adopting from a rescue. Trust me when I say, it's worth it. 💕

We’ve been keeping a BIG secret. Do you want to know what it is?!
Before we reveal it, don’t we look adorable in our Christmas bandanas?! Handmade by and gifted to us by our Auntie Melissa
Drumroll…our Mommy retired yesterday AND we are moving home to Virginia.
WHAT?! I am sure y’all thought I was 27 years old 😂 But seriously, I was offered early retirement and I took it. Note early because I am not THAT old. 😁
I am blessed and grateful that I am able to close my 25+ years at Meyer on a high note. I am calling it my “rewirement” because I plan to rewire myself to do other things. Things I am passionate about…perhaps dog things?!
Happy Saturday friends! More to come but today we rest and relax. 🩷
