Weekend laziness is upon us... well kind of. We have a well visit with the vet and a bath planned tomorrow. Mom has been doing a lot of checkups lately with me. But as we get older those type of things are the new normal.

In an effort to keep Athena active, we took her out to do some Scent Work yesterday.

She earned her 64th and 65th title with AKC. Her Advanced Buried Elite title and Excellent Containers title. She also added a Q towards her Advanced Interior Elite title (with a 3rd place).

It was a long, long day for her which made it longer with the drive being 2hrs+ one way. But.. its a small price to pay to see her have her fun. She crashed the rest of the evening and I'm sure she'll catching up on her naps today. 😴

Some of the things you can count on with Athena.. if you present a treat that is worthy... first she'll ask kindly for more.. if you dont respond in 0.239 seconds then we'll result to being pushy. 😆😆

Got a decent report from our holistic vet today. The drive is tough but well worth it.

Our loot from last weekend.

One of the greatest things I did.. was listen to friends (finally.. 🤣) and get her involved in this sport We spent the weekend at Imperial Polk Obedience Club doing United Kennel Club Nose Work. Athena went 14 of 16 Qs. Earned titles in Advanced Interior and Vehicles and got her Novice Champion Title (with some extra Qs towards her Grand Champion title). 🎉🎉

The most impressive was the light bulb moment finally turned on for Handler Discrimination, she got her first 2 Qs in it. 😁😁 UKC does things a little different. They have 12 boxes and your glove is in one of the boxes. She definitely has potential in it, so we'll keep working on it. 😀

I couldnt be more proud of Athena. She goes out and tries her best and always has a great time doing it. ♥️♥️
