Miss Skye Baby is still in need of a family or maybe a foster. She was pulled from euthanasia and has been living her life here at Duckhill but since we have closed it’s urgent we find her a family. She is a very funny girl with the prettiest blue eyes. She is up to date on shots, likes to play fetch, crate trained, knows sit and lay down and walks very well on a leash. She is also loves to swim and will keep herself entertained with a toy. She gets along with other dogs but can have a rowdy play style. Maggie is still looking for a family to call her own. She needs to be the only dog in the home as she can be dog selective. She seems to do ok with males. She is ok with cats. Maggie really is a sweetheart that has loads of drive and a bubbly personality. Her favorite things to do is get cuddles, water retrieves, and treats of course. Even though Maggie has lots of drive and can retrieve all day long she has a calm demeanor and is a joy to be around. Could you please share? Polly is still in need of a home. We have closed so time is urgent. Is there anyone out there who could open their home to Polly. She is a 1 y/o, cattle dog mix, up to date on shots, and is the sweetest cuddle bug you will ever meet. She does get along with other dogs and cats. She also doesn’t meet a stranger. I would say she is mid to low energy and has great manners. She walks well in a leash, sits, lays down, crate trained, and plays fetch. She would prefer to lay next to you and enjoy your company. Not one of our adoptables went home. Which is sad because they are all great dogs who just need a chance and deserve a home for the holidays. Is there anyone out there that would be kind enough to open their heart and home to one of these cuties. Please share and pass the word. As they could have lived here at Duckhill kennels for forever, since we are closed, now they would need to find a home or even a foster come January 1st. Please share! Meet Copper a Walker Hound that wondered up to the kennel. He is about 2 years old fixed and up to date on his shots. He does get along with female dogs he does have a prey drive so he has not been introduced to cats. He will tree possums, squirrels, raccoons you name it. Could potential be a good hunting dog. He could also be a great family dog as well as he is very sweet and loves to be petted and his zoomies are quite funny. Please share. This is Buster a stray who wondered up to the kennel 6 years ago and has made this his home. Since we are closing Buster will have to find a new home. I know the right family has got to be out there for him. He is around 8 years old and he is fixed with all his shots. He is very sweet, gentle, and has great manners. Buster does not like cats and should be the only dog in the home. I think Buster is a great dog and would be a very good, loving, and loyal companion to anyone who would give him a chance. She gets along with other dogs but can sometimes have a rowdy play style. Since being at Duckhill she has learned to sit, lay down, and shake. This girl is very smart plus look at those eyes! Hey everyone meet Ms. Maggie our girl with the attitude. On the surface she is your typical lab: loves the water, always down for fetch, loves pets, treats, walks, and people, but dig deeper and you will see that Maggie thinks she should be the only dog on this earth. She is quite the diva and would like a home where she can be the only fur baby in the home as she does not like to share her attention. She doesn't mind cats but absolutely no other dogs. Besides that one quirk Maggie is a really great dog with lots of drive, easy trainer, and has a high desire to please plus she is so sweet and affectionate to people and would love to have some kids. He is very confident and outgoing, with lots of drive and a high desire to please. He has been practicing water retrieves, obstacles, and has been introduced to gunshots. Happy Hump Day!!!
My name is Polly and I am a honorary lab. I was found last year near death and have been living at Duckhill Kennels ever since. The trainers all think I am adorable and tell me how smart I am all the time. Since living here I have learned to sit, lay down, and shake! The one thing that will make my life complete is a family.
