As we head into next week, the heat index is expected to rise, making it too hot for extended outdoor activities.

To ensure everyone stays safe & comfortable, we will be focusing on shorter outdoor potty breaks paired with indoor enrichment sessions. These sessions will include puzzle toys, treat-dispensing games, & mental exercises to keep them engaged while staying cool inside.

We'll make sure they still get plenty of stimulation despite the heat. If anything changes or if you have any special requests, just let me know!

I know it’s not Friday, but I wanted to share a fun fact because tonight was a full-circle moment.

When I was about seven or eight years old, I started my “dog walking business” by walking my neighbor’s pug, Buddy. I don’t remember exactly how many years I walked Buddy regularly, but what I do know is that he ignited my passion for working with animals at a very young age.

Today, I welcomed a client with not just one Pug, but two! Mikey reminds me so much of Buddy & brings back so many childhood memories of our walks. 🥹

Being a single mom & business owner is TOUGH! Oakley was diagnosed with strep this morning—just two days before school starts & on a busy work day.

Big thanks to for stepping in to help! Also a big thank you to all my clients who have shown concern for Oakley & have had the patience to deal with delays today! I appreciate you all so much! 🫶🏻 Oakley will be feeling better in no time after starting antibiotics & it’s back to business per usual!
