In the last couple of years, we have seen an increased number of cheap imported so-called bone broths coming onto the market. These imports are challenging our business, they are cheap so people are buying them. There is one particular brand in the pet space claiming to be a dehydrated broth.

Unfortunately, these so-called bone broth powders are not bone broths at all. Many of them are hydrolysed protein, which is a chemical process to remove nutrients from bones. They are starchy, don't mix well and often harmful to your dog’s digestive system.

Please be aware of these products claiming to be a bone broth powder. They are not true natural bone broths, and we are still the ONLY natural dehydrated bone broth company in Europe and possibly the world.

Our story

Health is our passion and that's why we promise to deliver nutritious natural foods to your door. We believe that everyone should include our foods in their regular diet. That's because science has told us these foods are important to our gut health and research is now telling us that the health of the gut could be the underlying cause for many new conditions people are suffering from today. In our 5-star hygiene rated kitchen, we develop healthy food products with the sole purpose of improving someone's health. Through our own research, we know that using some of the ancient preservation techniques and cooking methods play an important part in how food behaves and is broken down by the human gut.

How we got here

Rachel Down started on her own health journey back in 2017 after she struggled for 3-years with constant health setbacks. Unable to find support through the NHS, Rachel researched her own health problems and discovered gut health. The new foods she needed for her diet were not available in the UK, so she set on a mission to make them for herself. Within nine months, Rachel lost in weight 25kgs. The business has evolved from Rachel selling soup and kefir juice to her friends, family and neighbours to now selling her fermented drinks and bone broth all over the UK. She is passionate about helping to create a positive healthy future for everyone through the power of using natural foods and wants to initiate a change in the UK health system where doctors prescribe diet before drugs.
