𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗔𝗚𝗘 | 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗻
Melissa Galloway has done it 🥳 again this time she and her beloved Windermere J’Obei W have placed fifth 😍 in the FEI Grand Prix Special at Aachen Dressage Days CDI3* in Germany. The Marlborough rider was over the moon with their 70.277% effort. “Each test we are making massive steps forward,” she said. “Today was a really big improvement with another mistake-free soft fluent test.” Even better 💥 was the feedback she received including about just how professional the combination were now looking.
“My trainer Anne Van Olst also felt this is the best we have performed yet and are 100% moving in the right direction heading into the rest of the year. To place fifth in such a strong 💪🏼 field, many of whom are vying for the Olympic Games, is really special and something to be incredibly proud of.”
She was “proud and inspired” by her “wonderful” friend Charlotte Fry (GBR) and Glamourdale (pictured with Melissa) who won 🥇 the 17-strong class on 80.447%.
Next for the Kiwis is Aachen CHIO. “We seem to always deliver there and Joey loves the main arena so we are very happy to be going back.”
