Jean Ford Art A piece of each pet is preserved in their image. I thought it was wasteful to just throw out my dog's beautiful hair.

The dogs are washed, groomed, and select hair is chosen to be incorporated in my paintings. The hair is applied a small bundle at a time.

August 20th-Sept 24th is Lake Mary Museum's 10th Annual Local Artist Exhibition! Over 30 artists will be displaying their artwork at the Lake Mary Museum. A portion of each sale benefits the museum.

People always want to touch my dog hair art so I made a painting for those who can't resist and for people who are visually impaired. The dog has lots of texture and the words are in braille. Hope the translations are accurate, if not please forgive me. BTW the dots at the bottom are my name.
