ir mix. I first came to live with Mommy as her foster through Mid Atlantic Bully Buddies (www.midatlanticbullybuddies.org). After a few months, I became her foster failure, when she adopted me on January 14, 2014. I was 8yrs old. The icing on the cake is that Mommy still continued/continues to foster dogs for the very same rescue. Then on October 1, 2015, Mommy adopted & bought home my sister, Lucy, to keep her from being surrendered to a kill shelter. Lucy was 6yrs old when she was adopted & joined my family. We are on FB to love on all Loving Bully Babies, to share our love & our happenings, & to highlight all the rescued animals that my Mommy cares for. Footnote on the reasons why my Mommy started fostering & is passionate about us Bullies --->
~ Simply put, she is being the change that she wants to see happen in this world.....SAVING BULLY LIVES!
~ Instead of effectively enforcing people to be good, educated, smart, & humane owners of us Bullies; Humans have instead set out to ban people from owning any of us. And Mommy says that that is greatly ineffective at accomplishing their intended goal of reducing dog bites/attacks & shutting down organized dog-fighting.
~ The BSLs, labeling us as inherently vicious & dangerous, & poor ownership have caused a skyrocketing increase of Bullies in animal shelters. Leading to countless numbers of Bullies being given death sentences & being euthanized. As of 2014, euthanized Bully dogs in the United States exceeded 1 million (1,000,000) per year...... 1,000,000 yearly = 2,700 daily =114 hourly = 2 Bullies euthanized every minute in this country
