Due to all of the rain we have gotten we decided to clean out the one side of the goat shelter and lay down gravel as well as put gravel in my milking area and in front of the deck we built. You can see how much we pulled out of the area before laying down the gravel. 🤞 Hoping this works and is better for them.

The not so fun part of animal care. My one goat had a really bad parasite load and it was time to retreat her with Dewormer per the vet. Well I noticed she started losing her fur so now I have to give her vitamin B shots for 2 weeks and zinc in her food.

Whoever said you can't buy love has never rescued a dog. I love spending mornings with my LGD Tallulah while I milk the goats. She definitely doesn't understand she's a not a small puppy but she understands that I love her and don't mind her leaning into me or putting her paw on my leg. ❤️

On July 4th we had to say goodbye to you Lana girl. 9 years of loving you. I will always love you and miss you. Sweet girl I hope you are running around playing til your hearts content. You definitely left a mark in our lives and I am so glad you chose us to be your family when we went into the shelter all those years ago. I am happy you are no longer suffering anymore but I wish I could snuggle with you one more time. That saying is true, "I reached for a hand and got your paw." because you came into our lives after losing two of our cats and you helped us heal. Thank you for loving us and protecting David even from the dogs on TV. You will forever be apart of me. ❤️
