Global Medics Arti-Gold Canine is a highly effective joint supplement for the furry friends in our lives. The original formula was developed by three Belgian veterinarians, including Dr. Tom Mariën – a well-known equine surgeon – to treat joint pain and arthritis in sport horses, as their joints often face great pressure when jumping or racing. As the supplements worked so well on horses, horse ow
ners in Belgium started to take the same supplements themselves and saw the same positive results. As demand for the supplements grew, Global Medics adapted the formula to suit different users: Arti-Forte for human consumption and Arti-Gold Canine for dogs and cats. Unlike many other joint supplements on the market, Arti-Gold Canine provides the complete joint care solution for our pets. It contains a whole range of ingredients that work together to help lubricate joints, support the cartilage and relieve joint pain, like:
- Glucosamine, an important building block for our chondrocytes (cartilage cells). It supports the preservation of the cartilage and synovial fluid and also inhibits the production of certain enzymes harmful to the cartilage.
- Chondroitin, a substance present in articular cartilage that promotes the shock-absorbing ability of the joint. Like glucosamine, chondroitin stops the production of certain enzymes that are harmful to the cartilage.
- Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), a naturally occurring compound in the body with a soothing effect on stiff joints and rigid muscles. The body's production of this compound decreases with increasing age.
- Collagen, the main protein of articular cartilage and responsible for the strength and elasticity of the cartilage.
- Calcium and Phosphorus, essential for the construction of strong bones and teeth and the development and contraction of muscles.
- Harpagophytum, also called devil's claw, is an herb with a powerful soothing effect on joints.
- Herba Alchemillae, or lady’s mantle, a plant long used as an anti-inflammatory to relieve joint pain.
- Taraxacum radix, the dandelion, known for its beneficial effect on joints and muscles.
- Equisetum, also known as common horsetail, a plant used for centuries to support the joints.
- Vitamin E, crucial in maintaining healthy cells and therefore, also our cartilage cells. It is a powerful anti-oxidant that provides a general feeling of strength and well-being. All these important joint food is then conveniently presented in a tablet with a vanilla flavour that dogs will like. We recommend one tablet per 10kg of body weight for optimal joint protection:
1. Lubricate joints and keep them supple.
2. Support cartilage repair.
3. Relieve joint pain in the hip, neck and back.
4. Help manage other joint-related disorders.
5. Antioxidant effect against free radical damage. So, if the joint supplement works so well for horses, think about what Arti-Gold Canine can do for our smaller four-legged friends. Other information:
