Take two. For some reason it was taken down?

On May 9, our Humane Law Enforcement team was asked to assist in the seizure of 30 large and extra-large dogs from a residential home. At 2:30 am, our team finally finished setting these dogs up at the shelter so they would have a safe and clean place to sleep.

You can help.

Please consider giving to help out a furry friend.

‼️We know you all see the constant photos of people giving away their dogs or the posts from the police departments asking if you recognize whatever dog they picked up. We get tags and calls constantly, we wanted to share here we try to reply but simply can not keep up with the never ending requests. We can only help as many dogs that we have foster homes for. Below is the inquiries received from just Friday alone from 8am-1PM, we do NOT share this to bully these people! We understand times are hard but if you need help with food to keep your dog please reach out to us! We have updated our wishlists (found below) to include some bags of food to help us disperse to the public that needs help. PLEASE PLEASE spay/ neuter your dogs! We will be sharing several heartbreaking stories just from the past week later this evening.

This has got to be the coolest thing ever.

The shelter is closed on Mondays, but did you know on days the shelter is open you can borrow a dog for an adventure?

It's called Doggy Day Out! We'll send you with all the essentials from a leash and harness to a water bowl and seatbelt! (Seriously we have doggy seatbelts!! 🚗)

All we need is to schedule a pick up time, some information about what your plans are for your adventures and the rest is up to you! Teagan is a doggy day out pro and she's willing to show you the ropes along with her other friends here at the humane society.

Hi I am Lottie, 3 year old, female Great Dane. I am a about 100lbs, and a bit under weight, but working an gaining back a few pounds. I was found as a stray by the shelter near the local fairgrounds, so it is likely that I was left there intentionally. I am a happy and affectionate girl and I like other dogs. I am fairly good on a leash, and seem to be mostly housebroken, but not holding out any promises on that just yet!

Hi, I am Alice, a 9 month old, 30 lb, female German Shepherd mix. I was found as a stray by the side of the road near an industrial area. I am sweet girl, a little nervous but foster mom got a sneak peek of me romping in the yard, so she can tell I will settle in well. I am gentle with the kids and ignored the cat. I do like to have my crate as a safe space. If you think I may be a fit for your family get your application in. The next open adoption clinic is Saturday June 25th, but I could be adopted before then!
