Please program PVRPD Park Patrol; (805) 432-0708 into your phone and alert them to any issues you may come across.
They are our parks, we are all responsible for the safety and enjoyment of the park.

The Camarillo Airport and surrounding areas will be impacted by loud jets and explosions from the air show Friday 8/18/23 thru Sunday 8/20/2023. Be safe 🐶🐈

From airport news: Wings Over Camarillo will feature several shows that may be disruptive to neighbors and their pets who are sensitive to noise. This includes, but is not limited to, pyrotechnics and flights from a FA-18 high performance military aircraft. It is important to note that the FA-18 will also be practicing for the event on Friday, August 18th. Event officials recommend ear plugs or noise-canceling headphones for children attending the event during the FA-18 portion of the show. Ear plugs will be provided at the gate, however families are encouraged to also bring any protective noise support they may already have to ensure the best possible experience for young children enjoying the air show.

NEW DATE: BARK IN THE PARK – SUNDAY, APRIL 23rd 2023 - 11AM – 3PM: Bark in the Park is one of the biggest dog festivals in Ventura County. Enjoy contests, including a dog costume contest (big and littlest dog), our very own dog racetrack, dog entertainers, dog agility course, dog cool off zone-water area, and a DIY (do-it-yourself) dog area to create your own dog accessories. Additionally, there will be lots of vendors that will have dog specific goods and services. Food and drinks for purchase. No aggressive dogs. All dogs MUST be on a leash. We will also have lots of dogs that would love to find a new home.

Springville Dog Park was opened up yesterday, looking very very green!
Expecting it to be open again today, but also know that more rain is expected this week. Enjoy it while you can. 🐶🐾🐾

Please adhere to the park closures to protect the turf. As you all know, we’ve had record rainfall.

Due to the levels of rainfall, turf conditions, and debris all dog parks, hiking trails, and sports fields will remain closed until further notice.
