Life on our farm can get busy, our dogs think we need their help. Some think they are good cow chasers (usually going the wrong direction and causing chaos). Buck our male Golden Retriever really tried to convince me to let him drive the tractor… sorry Buck there’s only room for 1. 😊

PSA: Do you have a plan in place for your dogs for this weekend?
⭐️will you have house guest? Do they know the plan for your dogs during the celebration?
⭐️Are their collars on with ID’s? Have they been microchipped? No one thinks it will happen to them but dogs can get scared and run away during fireworks.
⭐️Today and tomorrow would be the last appropriate times to get medication for your dog (if needed) before fireworks start this weekend. Here in the Lowcountry we don’t have a noise ordinance so anywhere in town fireworks are allowed to be used.

About Green Valley Pups and Paws

We are the Jaimes family, and we raise puppies! Labrador Retrievers and Golden Retrievers right here in Olympia, Washington. That’s about 60 miles south of Seattle. My husband, Rafael, and I (Wendy) have 4 children that we are very fortunate to raise on the most beautiful farm that has been in our family since World War 2.

My grandparents purchased 70 acres in Evergreen Valley shortly after my grandpa returned from Europe. I was raised here by my parents who bought a portion of the land from them. Now I own this little piece of paradise.

All of our animals are free ranged and able to enjoy the fresh air and open spaces to run around in! We spend a lot of our time outdoors. Whether we are doing chores, working the farm, riding horses or taking walks, our dogs love being with us.

The great thing about all of our puppies (besides them being so cute) is that they are socialized at a very early age, not just with the other dogs, but with cats, horses, cows, chickens, and with lots of kids. So after 8 weeks of spending time with our family your puppy will be ready for you to take him to their forever home, and fit right in.
