Super excited to take the Rocky Mountain Paw Protection Doccasin Leather Dog Bo**ies for one more hike before getting started on their review! 😎🥳

These boots are unique because they do not have velcro straps, zippers, or any buckles - instead, they come with a shoe horn that we use to slide on the elastic neoprene cuffs that keep the boots on! 😲

These boots are best to protect paws on summer hikes or from hot pavements but they have another boot for winter time as well. 😉

The Non-stop dogwear Contact Bo**ie High Review is up on the website! 🎉😎

This boot was developed to protect paws in snow and icy conditions. Each boot features two elastic Velcro straps, allowing for a secure and more adjustable fit that keeps the boots in place during any activity. 😉

The higher design ensures that the material also covers the carpal pads which tend to injure if the dog runs through icy snow. The lightweight material provides comfort and a good ground feel while wearing the boots to allow traction for the dog on slippery surfaces.

It took some time to get the sizing and the fit right just because this was the first long boot we have tried, but now I do like using the Contact Bo**ie High for snowy hikes to minimize the ice cuts on Zulu's paws and carpal pads and she seems to be very comfortable wearing them!😊

It's not even Zulu's birthday yet (although that's also coming up 😉) and she got this awesome package from ZAYMA Craft! 😍

All these tug toys were hand-made in Poland by dog people who use and test these toys themself and try to come up with the most fun reward for pups. 💪
Putting this order together was such a fun experience for me as well because you can choose the size, colors, and materials for many of these tugs offering a huge variety of options to create the most fun toy for your dog. 😎

All these toys are made for interactive play and tugging, and they shouldn't be left out for the dog as they cannot handle chewing. We will be using them for Zulu's search training as she is being rewarded with toys and tugging. 😊
She is already super excited about them so I can't wait to use them on our next training! 😉

Perfect time to catch up on some reviews while being cozied in on the first rainy day of 2025. 😉

Next up will be the Pomppa Dogwear Kuoripomppa raincoat that got so much use in the last few rainy, muddy days! I LOVE that they added an adjustable leg loop that makes it so much easier to fine-tune the fit on the dog and prevent the back section of the coat from rotating to the side. 👏

Sharing a few more photos from yesterday of the new Hurtta Extreme Warmer III Eco! 😉

What are your plans for the holiday break (if you have one)? 🎄

I am looking forward to some well-needed reflection time, hopefully paired with long hikes. 😊 At the end of the year, I always try to slow down and rethink my priorities, and goals as so much can change within 12 months.
It is also a good time to have a high-level plan on what type of collaborations we would like to focus on next year. Got any ideas? 🤓

My regular day work got really busy lately but I am slowly catching up with photo editing, answering emails and messages, and have a couple reviews on the way as well 😉

I loved this photoshoot of the Non-stop dogwear Rush Harness. 😊

This is a light harness with a length between their Line and Freemotion harnesses. Quick and easy to put on with two buckles on the sides so it's great for gear-shy dogs or dogs just starting pulling sports.
Also suitable for everyday walks. 😉

It's a bit hard to show the fit on photos exactly because it is so light that it tend to ride up without leash pressure. I will need to take a few photos when she pulls a bit to prove that it actually has a great armpit clearance on Zulu. 😅

What do you do to "winterize" car setups? 🧐

The cold weather arrived in our area recently so Zu got an extra blanket or two so she can snuggle in her car crate and we reached the season when she is traveling wearing a base layer as the back of the car can stay significantly cooler than the front and she has thin hair and no body fat to keep her warm.

It is super helpful to have a temperature monitor back by the crate even in the winter months - I was really surprised how much colder it can get back there even when I am comfy in the driver's seat.

We received the FidaPet No Pull Harness for some testing and review! 😉

It is made of 900D Nylon Oxford fabric, plastic buckles, and thick padding. It has a built-in p**p bag dispenser, reflective lining all around, a padded handle, a no-pull front attachment, and hidden saddlebags inside the zippered section (photos on this coming soon)!🤓

We are back from our deployment to support the recovery efforts of hurricane Helene. We got a pretty cool retractable leash from @fidapet !😎💡 It has a bright headlight and ambient side lights to keep both you and the dog visible for night walks. We use a retractable leash for the evening bathroom breaks so this is perfect to see what Zulu is doing and makes pick up duty in the dark easier. ;) What do you think?😊 . We had the perfect summer weekend of camping, hiking, and cooling down in a lake while finally putting the @nonstopdogwear Protector Life Vest through some real-life testing! 🤩 When playing with toys, it was really visible how wearing this life jacket allowed Zu to keep her head above the water level which prevented swallowing a lot of water while retrieving toys which is an issue for her when swimming "naked".
