BACK TO SCHOOL!!

NEW SEPTEMBER GROUP CLASSES!!!
We’re super excited to be offering TWO brand new classes in addition to our existing fan favorites.
Jessica Koester (ABCDT, KPA CTP, CNWI) will be leading the brand new Intro to K9 Nose Work class starting Thursday September 7 from 7-8PM. This class will be limited to 5 participants. 6 weeks for $200. Come learn the foundation lessons of scent detection with your dog. In this class you will learn to read your dogs body language, learn about odor and odor movement and develop a stronger relationship with your dog.
Mason Cameron (KPA CTP, FDM) will be leading the much anticipated LOOSE LEASHES class! Starting Sunday September 10 from 10:30-11:30AM. This class is limited to 6 participants. 4 weeks for $175. There are so many reasons WHY dogs pull while they’re on leash and finding the optimal combination of effective physical exercise and dedicated training time can seem like a daunting task. Come learn fun, effective, and realistic games and activities to play with your dog that will increase enjoyment for both you and your pup on all your future outdoor adventures!

Fantastic Foundations
$175/ One Hour, Once a week for 4 Consecutive Weeks

Valuable information and foundation skills for a lifetime of cooperative companionship. This is an introductory course for dogs of all ages and any skill level. Young puppies (10-16 weeks old) will experience safe socialization of new sights, sounds, smells. Learn how to teach your dog that turn-on-a-dime, automatic response recall you’ve always wanted. We’ll start week 1 with conditioning critical foundational skills and build in more distance, speed, and distractions through each class. This is an intermediate level course. Best suited for dogs who have previously completed a class for foundation skills. Your class instructor will be leading you through a culmination of the most fun and effective games taught by leading trainers in our industry!

MEET DOROTHY (aka Dotty) 8lb, 13 week old mini golden doodle overflowing with spunky puppy energy. True to doodle puppy form, she LOVES all people and has take quickly to jumping up and using her tiny snarky teeth on all the kids for attention and is having a bit of a hard time settling when separated for naps in her crate/playpen throughout the day. Her family will be working on some shifts in daily routines and activity to help her start to learn behaviors that will allow her to live more comfortably and harmoniously with her family!

When everything goes out the window during adolescence or other challenging times throughout your dogs life. It can be easy to feel like all you’ve put in was a waste of time.

But all that work is still there, and may be the very thing that makes the difference between those that get through these challenges and those who don’t.

Everything you put into your dog, will always be worth it.

MEET JAMEISON! ❤️ Some dogs just have a way of instantly winning me over. He’s a little bit sensitive and weary of new people but warmed up to me nicely by the end of our initial consult. While making some minor adjustments to his environment, he’ll be working on recall, look at that, and mat work in the home, office, and while out on leash to decrease his big feelings about passerby activity.

MEET SUUNY!!! We did private training lessons together a year and a half ago to help him learn to be more confident and less reactive with dogs out on walks and next door and to be best prepared for a new tiny human edition!! Now we occasionally get to hang out during holidays.
TOP SECRET: I only often day visits, dog walks, and vacation/holiday boarding to previous training clients 😉

Meet DEXTER!! Just barely 4 months and already 40lbs. His family wants to make sure he gets the best start to a happy life. For a dog that is going to be as large and strong as he will be, a solid start with foundation skills like recall, relaxation, arousal regulation, and cooperation for care will be crucial.

Winnie took her first safe socialization field trip to REI this afternoon. She calmly observed all the interesting new sights, sounds, and smells while sitting in the stroller. Even though she didn’t have any physical exercise or activity during this outing, she had no problem crashing out for a long afternoon snooze as soon as we got home. Great job lil girl!

Meet LUNA, REMY, & LIBBY!! These 3 have each have their own unique life stories up to this point. Before their Initial Consultation they had gotten into several scuffles resulting in minor injuries. With the implementation of slow feeder bowls, pet stairs, and close supervision during daily routines, they have only had 2 small altercations in 3 weeks! During our package of private lessons we’ll be working on building more reliable “spot” on cue, recall, and leash games! Stay tuned for their progress ❤️
