Currently I have a small customer base, most of my customers require dog walking and pet sitting. I offer a tailor made service to suit my customers needs, we talk through their requirements and expectations and agree on a fee for the services they desire. I have experience working professionally with pets since 1998, mostly dogs, and a lifetime of experie
nce with most other pets too. I can offer references from customers and am happy to meet with customers prior to any bookings so they can be completely satisfied with my business and what I offer. I have been running Odd Socks Pet Care since 2012 to allow me to develop what I truly love. Odd Socks was so named because I began my business idea while pairing odd socks in a home help job! A little bit about my customers...
I have customers who work long hours and need me to let their beloved dogs stretch their legs during the working day, this is arranged on a need basis, some give me a day or so notice and others book the full years days in advance. My pet/house sitting customers like me to be at their house at a certain time and keep the normal routine going while they're away. This can include caring for the pets living at the house, which means I move in while owners are away, and others just like me to pop in to turn on lights and check over everything to give the impression of a 'lived in' house. My cleaning customers require a top-up cleaner to keep household chores in check, this can be a one off or a weekly/monthly event, whatever the customer needs, usually tied in around dog walks or pet care so that they can return home after a long day at work to a welcoming home and exercised dog.
