Peaches is estimated to be about 7 years old and weighs in at a whopping 6 pounds. We don’t know much about her past, but she was transferred to us from our friends at the Angleton Animal Shelter. Peaches has really settled in to her new found freedom, and is ready to find herself a forever home.

Peaches has been exposed to dogs of all sizes, cats, and was even fostered with a pet bird. She is naturally a bit fearful meeting both four and two legged friends. She will require patience as she gets comfortable. With time, Peaches enjoys the company of others very much. She is a real sweetheart and loves a good cuddle session. She enjoys exploring outside, but needs work walking on leash. She recently went camping with her foster family and thought that was pretty great! Peaches has luxating patella in both of her back legs, but they do not cause her any discomfort. She is currently on a joint supplement that she should continue taking for the remainder of her life. Peaches is crate and potty trained.

Her best fit home would include someone that also shares a laid-back lifestyle. Due to her fearful demeanor, we feel Peaches would do best in a home with no small children. Though she may present shy, she is sure to be your best friend in no time! ❤️
