This holiday season, many families will be purchasing or adopting a puppy or dog.

Please remember, wether you purchase a pup from a reputable breeder or adopt one from a rescue, dogs are only as "good" as they are trained.

Your new pup may be amazing, cute and super excited to be there....but as the newness wears off and the pup learns the lay of the land...the problems begin.

This should serve as a stark reminder to everyone who thinks that all stray dogs are friendly.

It is unknown if the dogs attacked her while riding her bicycle or if she got off and introduced herself, but not all stray dogs are friendly.

It should also serve as a reminder to those whose dogs like to chase cars and bicycles, it is not okay and can be very dangerous.

Our board and train program is designed to teach your pup basic obedience, household etiquette, leash etiquette and socialization.

Housed in our foyer, trained in our living room, with ample play time outside as well; your pup will love their time at school here at Crawford's K9 Academy LLC!

Look at this sweet face. She has a sweet personality to match! Sasha is a spayed 5 yo German Shepherd. She gets along with male dogs of similar size, but really enjoys getting all the attention. We have some really awesome boys that still haven't found a forever home yet.

Iggy, the black bully, is approximately a year old and is an all around sweetheart. He gets along well with other dogs and kids, and has done really well with basic training. He will need a companion who wants a pup to spend a lot of time with.

Barrett is ready to go do all the things. He is perfect for a person who has the energy to match him and would definitely be on board with hitting the trails. He is ok with female dogs similar in size to him, and older children.

Dexter is a lover. He wants nothing more than to take long walks on the beach and snuggle in for a movie night. He gets along with female dogs and less dominant male dogs, and older children are Ok.

All rescues are adoptable immediately, with adoption fees waived and two free training sessions to ensure they transition comfortably.

Meet Stella, our newest CK9A trainee.

Stella is a 4 month old Australian Shepherd, she is super hyper and very intelligent. These awesome traits can lead to confusion in training, frustrated owners and behavioral issues.

Fortunately, Stella's family recognized her need for training and she is now on her way to being the best pup she can be!

Little Luna is our newest board and train edition at Crawford's K9 Academy. She is a beautiful Cane Corso with plans to be an amazing service pup one day.

Her brother Romeo will also be a service dog and they come from a current clients pup named Stella.

They are second generation CK9A!
