"Even those that never blossom bring beauty into the world."
Legend has it that dragonflies were given an extra set of wings so that angels could ride on their back.
We instantly fell in love with this print at first sight. These special edition Cheekies are dedicated to our brave Roan, who was lost in a high risk stillbirth. As a result, a percentage of our proceeds from our special edition Cheekies are donated to Loma Linda University Health Butterfly program. The Butterfly program is a bereavement group committed to helping families navigate life after infant loss and their journey of grief.
To some it maybe difficult to understand how a furbaby connects with the loss of a loved one. So let us explain...during our difficult and joyous times our furbabies have always been there to offer comfort. From the subtle hugs which sometimes come in the forms of pressure from their heads on our backs as we wail to cuddles on the bed, the excitement they show when we return home, and/or the wet slobbery kisses they drench us in as they say I love you. To take it a step further, some furbabies are the new addition the family when life decided to take a different turn.
In some homes a furbaby is more than a pet. They are the baby. π
