Worth the wait! In this story, a professional from USDF Region 9 shares the wisdom imparted on her by an anxious Welsh Cob mare, and how they’ve ‘made haste slowly’ to transform themselves. Read it here: https://yourdressage.org/2024/09/18/festina-lente/

This story is part of our celebration of Welsh Ponies & Cobs as our Breed of the Month.

About Us

Owner/manager: Carolyn Miele (Carrie) has over 25 years of experience caring for multiple horses of different breeds and disciplines. In addition to her hands on experience, she also possesses a bachelors degree in Nursing, a certificate in Equine Operations, and a certificate in Equine Sports Massage Therapy. Carrie has owned/managed her own equine facility since 2005 and currently lives on site, with her husband Lucio, a fellow enthusiastic equestrian.

Lucio and Carolyn moved to Mississippi from the Chicago area, where the first Belcavallo Farm was located. They enjoy working with, training and riding their horses, most of which are rescues which they have rehabbed.

They both began riding as adults and are thrilled that Julie has moved to Jackson and is competently helping them to expand their riding goals!
