News from the shows- baby girl Liberty, New River’s Fire in the Sky, took a HUGE 4-point specialty major WB and best of winners from the 6-9 month puppy class this afternoon in Michigan in a quality packed lineup! We are so proud! Liberty is from our Hudson x Ginny litter and was handled to this win by Taylor Lafferty. Good girl Liberty! 🇺🇸🌟

The nearly 14 years we had with our beautiful Sally wasn’t nearly long enough. She solidified our love for collies and was the best girl anyone could hope to have as part of their family. Rest in peace sweet girl.

Baby Liberty’s first show weekend! She picked up a nice Reserve Winners with her handler Taylor Lafferty at the Columbus Collie Club specialty show her first weekend out. Liberty is New River’s Fire in the Sky and is from our Ginny x Hudson litter. Also big congratulations to her uncle Super Steve who won a nice Best OPP and two select wins, and to her aunt Sky who picked up her second major in Pennsylvania this past weekend. Family 💖💙

2024 year in review! It was an exciting year for us and our little dog hobby! Our biggest news came with adding two new show hopefuls to our pack, Teddy, New River's Aryggeth Let Freedom Ring, came from Aryggeth collies as our new boy in the pack. Teddy proved himself to be quite the puppy flyer, quickly picking up 14 points and 3 specialty majors undefeated from the 6-9 month puppy class! Teddy will be back out in the spring to pick up that last point he needs to finish his AKC championship. He is such a special boy and we are thrilled with him! Our other hopeful is Liberty from our one set of babies we had this year (our Ginny x the beautiful Stella son Hudson), Liberty is New River's Fire in the Sky. Liberty is growing up nicely and we anticipate getting her in the show ring as well this spring.
In other news, everyone else is happy and healthy and we are very thankful for that. Our oldest, Sally, turned 13 back in June and we are thankful for every day we have with her.
We would also like to give a shout out to our extended dog family and their successes this past year! Super Steve (Ginny's brother from Rufio x Reese ) had an extremely successful year his first year out as a special, picking up multiple specialty and all-breed Best of Varieties, along with a few group placements. He finished the year as #4 owner-handled smooth collie with his sweet owner Laura LaCongo, we are incredibly proud of this team. He is also producing very well with some solid, young hopeful offspring out there. Steve and Ginny's sister Skye had her first babies for her owners Vicki and Stan at Connelly Skye Collies, and they kept a very pretty rough tri puppy hopeful. Also big congratulations to Cassie, a Milo x Tui baby on finishing her AKC championship and obtaining a few nice barn hunt titles, all owner handled by her sweet owner Heidi. Cassie's sister Jinx also has just begun her AKC conformation career and is now AKC pointed, owner-handled by her sweet owner Michele. Congratulations to all on a great 2024, here's looking forward to 2025. We would like to wish everyone a happy, healthy, fun year!

Proud breeder moment watching a dog you bred compete in group on tv 😍🥰. Although neither placed in the group, both collies looked great. Thank you to Steve’s owner Laura for all you’ve done with him and for taking me on the thrill of a lifetime from the sidelines as a breeder!

Last weekend, my 7-month old puppy boy went to the Cleveland collie specialty shows and was winners dog the first show, winners dog, best of winners, and best of best of winners the next two shows! He won a CCA loving cup, and now is sitting at 14 points with 3 specialty majors towards his championship! Teddy is New River’s Aryggeth Let Freedom Ring, bred by the ladies of Aryggeth and Ceilidh collies, loved and owned by me. 🇺🇸
